Great place to stay

The room was excellent. Had everything to make your stay very comfortable.
Nice large bed. Lounge very spacious and large balcony overlooking the swimming pool.

Room was incredibly spacious, with a beautiful view, and quiet. The internal pool was excellent; we were surprised it was available at this property. Groceries are easily available within walking distance. This property makes me want to visit Portimão again by itself.

AVOID. The location and vibe of the place was pretty bad. The rooms were dated and depressing and the overall image of the hotel as conveyed in the listing did not reflect the reality at all. The decor is mid 2000s and the lighting resembled that of a public toilet replete with buzzing fluorescent bulbs. We checked out after just one night of a three night booking because it was so miserable but sadly we were unable to get a refund despite raising this with the hotel and Hotels.com. Very very disappointing.

We’ve just arrived home after staying here and it was amazing! Everything about it was lovely. The grounds were well maintained and beautiful, the pool was great, the reception area was so beautifully decorated and clean, the location was great you could walk into Praia da Rocha which was around 15 minutes. Our deluxe apartment was spotless, very comfy bed and had everything you needed in the kitchen area. The staff were so friendly, accommodating and helpful throughout.
I highly recommend Vista Marina. We cannot wait to return!

It was so clean and comfortable with all the facilities we needed. The reception staff were so friendly I would not hesitate to return.

Really impressed with facilities, the size of the apartments, the views of the ocean, the pool and facilities. If there is one issue, it's the fact there is no bar or facility to buy beverages or food snacks in hotel facility. Apart from this, the place is clean, secure and well looked after. Close walking distance to Praia De Rocha and Portimao for all your needs and secure parking for your hire car when not in use.

Overall, it is a great value-for-money hotel!

The pool and grounds are the highlights of this hotel. The pool is large and was extremely quiet on weekdays when we were there, often with the pool to ourselves. The weekends are busier but still manageable, with plenty of sunbeds for all. One thing that must be highlighted is the lovely cabana and seating area, super comfy cushions, perfect for relaxing.

The reception is modern, with lovely seating when waiting for your taxi. It has brilliant AC and lifts/elevators everywhere. The reception staff were fab, very friendly, and speedy. I had some communication over WhatsApp, which was super easy.

The room is very much standard. It is very large for two people, with spacious living, dining, and kitchen areas. The bathroom again does the job and is clean. The AC works wonders in both the bedroom and living room. Cleaners were in every day; beds were made, places tidied, and washing up was done. The balcony was large and brilliant, and it had great views across the marina.

Also, the location was fab. It was a 10-minute walk to the main strip of shops and restaurants and about the same into the town on the other side (defo check out Cletonina, casa da Rocha and Sushi & Go), but it meant that you were out in a quieter area. There's also a supermarket right by with good opening hours.

My second visit to this stunning apartment overlooking the River Arade. Apartments are spacious and clean and situated in a central location for beautiful traditional villages and the more touristy Praia’s. Staff are helpful and polite with very good English. The gardens are immaculate with swing chairs, sun beds and loungers around an amazing pool. Communal areas are relaxed and quiet. There are no negatives about this place and we will be returning.

As always had another wonderful stay in beautiful surroundings. The swimming pool and gardens are all well kept. The housekeepers were very friendly and came regularly to clean the apartment. In ideal location with a lovely cafe supermarket and patisserie nearby. Would highly recommend 😃

Huge apartment, very quiet and super clean

Everything was excellent

Super clean, modern building with lovely helpful reception staff. We really liked the large apartment and it's balcony which was easily big enough to do our morning exercise routine, then sit and have coffee whilst watching the cruise ship coming in. 15 min light walk to Praia De Rocha, similar to Portimao but i wouldn't bother!

Easy parking, wonderful lady at check in and check out. Close to the beach and a very well set up appartement with kitchen and washer. Pool looks wonderful but we did not use it. Excellent stay

Huge apartments, great location 15 mins walk from Praia da rocha, comfy beds and nice pool, as well as plenty of secure, underground parking. Would be great for a long stay or short.

Would maybe benefit from a bar by the pool (I'd have used it!) and there's not a lot of amenities around the area (quite residential) but a lovely place to stay overall.

Great place to stay. It was a large apartment with a view of the water. Parking garage was secure and groceries and coffee were near by. Great location in between faro and Lagos .
