Wonderful stay
Pros:

My stay at the Cumberland Hotel was truly wonderful. It’s a small, very charming hotel with a lovely atmosphere from the moment you walk in, and a beautiful scent throughout the entire place. Everything was very clean and well maintained, which made the stay even more comfortable.
The room was cosy, and the bed was extremely comfortable – I slept really well. The bedding and towels were perfectly clean, bright white and fresh, which is very important to me.
The breakfast was simple but tasty and well prepared, and the staff deserve special recognition – incredibly kind, helpful, and always smiling.
Another big advantage is the location – there is a bus stop right outside the hotel, making it very easy to get to the city centre as well as the airport.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cosy, well-kept hotel with character. I would happily stay here again!

Good location and staff. Budget rooms selected probably 2star rated...better rooms are available.
Pros:

For the price point, location was excellent for public transport connections for arrival, our visit to the City Centre and Zoo. Both continental and cooked breakfasts were fine. Staff were very attentive to our specific requests and accommodated luggage storage for a short time post checkout while we visited the Zoo in the morning.

Cons:

Room 1 located right next to the front entrance resulted in occupant being wakened every time a late night customer returned to the hotel. Waste services sounds every time a customer used the toilet led to a sleepless night.

Pros:

The accommodation was as expected. It’s an older hotel that could use some renovation. That said, it does have a certain charm. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is good, near Haymarket Station in a quieter neighborhood. Breakfast is basic. The price is reasonable compared to other accommodations. For one night, it was a very good choice.

The bed, a key element of a hotel stay, was awful.
Pros:

Location great.

Cons:

Bed mattress had totally failed. Massive gap in the middle made it extremely uncomfortable. The pillow was also very old and totally flat. Basics poor.

Pros:

Nagyon hangulatos volt a ház és a szobák. Gyalog is elérhető a történelmi belváros. Nagyon könnyű a tömegközlekedés mind a reptérre, mindpedig a belvárosba. A ház előtt van a buszmegálló.

Cons:

Nagyon leharcolt, koszos az egész. Amit elsőre kaptunk szobát, abban abszolút nem működött semmilyen mobilinternet, wifi sem. A másik szobában, amit helyette kaptunk pedig alig volt fűtés. Napokig fagyoskodtunk.

Pros:

Very convenient when arriving at Haymarket late at night.

A lovely facade, a room overlooking a small garden, quiet, very clean room. Friendly staff.

Cons:

No major gripes. Just be aware that some of the character of the outside has been lost due to modernisation inside in the bedrooms.
