Just about ok value for money
Pros:

Lovely staff and very customer friendly nothing was too much to enquire or ask about.

Cons:

Generally the property is outdated and a bit threadbare with poor quality furnishings. The shower had poor pressure and alternated between hot and cold variously throughout the shower. The sink was in an awkward position so was difficult to rinse mouth after brushing teeth as no glass or plastic cup provided. A small towel holder or ring near the sink would also have been useful as there was nowhere to hang the small towel.

Good option for one night stay
Pros:

Clean and comfortable one night stay with kids on our way through Edinburgh. Caught the bus easily into town.

Alles in Allem ok, wenn unter Berücksichtigung der Preise in Edinburgh eine gute Lösung für 1-3 Übernachtungen
Pros:

Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß für 3 Personen. Zimmer und Bad waren sauber. Bushaltestelle für die Fahrt ins Zentrum ist 100m entfernt. Obst und Wasser auf dem Flur.

Cons:

Bettwäsche hatte Flecken, das einzige wenn auch große Fenster mit Milchglas. Dahinter sind auch spät abends Mitarbeiter beschäftigt und machen Licht an und störenden Lärm. Frühstück kann im Hotel für 10 (Continental) oder 12£ (warm) pro Person gebucht werden.

Ottima posizione a metà strada tra l’aeroporto e il centro città, entrambi raggiungibili in quindici/venti minuti. Camera spaziosa, pulita e luminosa, molto confortevole.

Cons:

Gli infissi erano vecchi e rotti, passava l’aria e si sentiva costantemente il rumore delle auto che transitavano lungo la via adiacente alla struttura. Il pavimento era appiccicoso. Non c’era la possibilità di spegnere la luce nell’antibagno e la luce filtrava in camera. Il wc non scaricava bene e fare la doccia è stato terribile, era impossibile miscelare l’acqua in modo decente, troppo calda o troppo fredda. Inoltre è la struttura che abbiamo pagato di più durante il nostro soggiorno in Regno Unito e paradossalmente la peggiore.

I was not happy to have my driving licence taken off me to copy to prove who I am, I did protest this as they wouldn't accept viewing it as proof.

Pros:

Mir hat es gefallen, dass es sich nicht anfühlt wie ein Hotel, sondern wie in ein altes Haus zu kommen, das Stock an der Decke hatte. Mir hat es auch gefallen, dass es vor Ort Wasserspender gab zum Trinken aber auch Äpfel zum mitnehmen.

Cons:

Mir fehlte eine etwas hochwertigere Handseife, aber auch eine bessere Option für die Dusche. Zum Beispiel Dove Shampoo

We also paid for breakfast, but the experience was disappointing. The staff was somewhat rude, and the portions were very small considering the high price we paid.

Additionally, the toilet flush was a nightmare. After flushing, it took a very long time to refill, which was quite inconvenient.

Overall, not a pleasant experience.

Not much - second time I have stayed because it is convenient

Cons:

The rooms are tired - there was no heating on when I arrived. The helpful staff sorted. One bed rammed against radiator - can’t be good. There was a dirty plaster in the shower. Peeling skirting boards and the stairs were narrow and did not feel safe.
