Camera a fost mai confortabilă decât mă așteptam. Hotelul e amplasat într-o clădire istorică. Camera e spațioasă, geamurile mari. Mi-a plăcut că erau și două scaune și o măsuță la geam, perfect pentru a servi un ceai și de a savura priveliștea prin geam.
La intrare am avut parte de un șoc cultural. Mi s-a cerut să completez un formular unde trebuia să indic datele cardului bancar, deși ulterior mi s-a explicat că ultimele 4 cifre. Le-am spus că e inadmisibil. Mi s-a cerut să le dau pașaportul să facă o copie. Iarăși, am arătat pașaportul pentru a demonstra că eu sunt cel din document. Acel formular ar scop să extragă bani de pe card în caz de vreun prejudiciu comis. Nu mi se pare normal ca apriori să ți se incrimineze că ai putea prejudicia cu ceva hotelul. E o chestie care nu am mai întâlnit-o în alte părți.

We stayed here for two days and really enjoyed our visit. The room was clean and cozy, and the beds were comfortable. We also had a variety of tea and coffee, as well as a microwave, on the first floor. The location was also good, and nobody bothered us.

Location and lodge feel
Our room 3 window opened into an internal laundry and maintenance area- the light came on every time staff entered and the curtains did not block out the light.
Housekeeping removed a bag of groceries from our room, which we had purchased for the next leg of our holiday.

The manager was not helpful. He put us on the third floor which was fine, however he refused to help with our luggage. He saw us both struggling but refused to help. He stated " I gave you an upgrade." This statement was not true I got the exact room I paid for. The maid was very helpful and kind but the tall manager was useless.

The room was very comfortable for three persons. The hotel is very suitable located on the way from the airport to the city center.
There are some details - specially in the bathroom - that could be improved.

Het slot van de kamer was defect en konden de kamer niet op. ‘S avonds laat was de kamer open, maar konden alleen van binnenuit open en dicht. Bij ontbijt moest er een stop tussen de deur. De douche liep niet door en de ruimt was overal super klein. Bukken in de douche was niet mogelijk, alleen rechtopstaand door je knieën om je spullen te pakken (geen rekje). De volgende dag zijn de problemen pas opgelost. Zeer teleurstellend voor een best hoge prijs van bijna 200 pond per nacht.
