Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Furongguo Changsha

It's a decent standard five star hotel in China. Location is good.

Beautiful room, but with numerous issues (cracked tub, ripped blinds, stained chair, etc) that were not acceptable for a "5 star" hotel.

Also, front desk staff, while super friendly, seemed to not know much about how the hotel worked. Such as: how to call a cab early in the morning, how to send a post card, or when Yuelu Mountain is open.

The staff are very friendly. Breakfast is excellent!

Very luxurious accommodations. The buffet breakfast is very good, and the staff always greeting with a ready smile. Short distance to Pedestrian Street and subway.

This hotel is very central, it’s near all the main area and taxi ride to most places are less than 15 rmb, 2 USD (ID mall, IFS, walking street...) . It’s a bit walk from the subway, I rmb it’s about 8-10 min walk.

The hotel staff is super friendly and helpful, amenities-their gym is nice with a swimming pool and also massage and spa onsite.

Resturants are great, chinese and international buffet. Hotel guest can enjoy breakfast and dinner buffet at discount. Dinner buffet have at least 4-5 different sections consist of Japanese, Italian, cold seafood bar, locals and Chinese food.... buffet includes red / white wine, beer, coffee, tea and soft drinks!!!! Can’t complaint on a buffet for 160 rmb.

Over all is a very nice hotel for the price and I will go back if I visit ChangSha again!

The hotel building is grand. The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable. The service is excellent with very responsive and attentive staff. The only down side is that the hotel is located at a very busy junction and therefore road noise is very noticeable.

This is a lovely western style hotel with large rooms and great facilities that is close to the river and lots of shops. The staff were excellent and English was not a problem.

Good location, great staff, clean room, room condition a little bit out-dated, but will definitely recommend to a friend.

Wonderful staff who go out of their way to provide service. Unfortunately room thermostat difficult to figure out and room was overheated. Had to open window and power off system. Still warmer than necessary.

good location, close to metro station and shopping area. The hotel is decorated quite luxurious and the room is new and clean. Fast check in and out. But there’s one problem in the room, the window can not close firmly, which let some street noise in.

It took me more than 40 mins to check in. i booked one king room and one 2 beds room, but i was told that the hotel received the order of 2 king rooms, after i showed my booking reference to hotel staff, he still asked me to check with the hotels.com which made me feel crazy about the hotel. After 45 mins, the staff finally agreed to give me 1 king and one 2 single bed room. Meanwhile, the room was too noisy to sleep in the mid-night, 3 nights, all woke up by the car horn...

Had a great business trip stay in Changsha, and will be using this hotel going forward. It's hard to find top notch business hotels in Changsha, and am so glad to have discovered this one.

Not bad for business trip

Nicely maintained and decorated. Price is reasonable but should give option of no breakfast (less price) as I don't eat breakfast at all. Location is a bit in middle of no where but about RMB 10 taxi to the central Chang Sha. Taxi sometimes hard to get and therefore needs patient.

Good choice to stay during your visit to Changsha.
