There was a lot to like about this hotel. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The meals at The Ledges restaurant were very delicious. We appreciated the afternoon cookies and the working fireplace as well as the free coffee on our floor. There was hiking within steps of the hotel property (no need to get in the car and drive to a trailhead). But, the noise in the hallway outside of our room and in the next room made for difficulty sleeping. Perhaps it was because we traveled over school vacation week so the hotel was busier. But we think that the walls between rooms are not very sound proof and this was a disappointment. Maybe at a less busy time, it would be quieter (and there would be more opportunity to use the outside whirlpool, which was overrun during our stay and made it impossible to access) because everything else about the property we really enjoyed!
Wonderful experience and a very dog friendly environment. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy a quaint , high end getaway. The Sunday brunch was the best we’ve had in all of New England
The location is perfect! Easy to drive anywhere but tucked away and private. Beautiful views in all directions and situated under a beautiful ledge. The rooms are clean and modern. We stayed in a double bed room and also a king room with Mountain View and I can’t express how perfect they were. We got a great deal last minute and we will definitely be back.
Excellent food and place to stay. Area is superb! We will be back - wasn't cheap but for a special occasion it was perfect. Hopefully they figure out how to keep the ice from forming around the pool/hot tub for swimming in 10 degrees!
Went to the resort with 4 girlfriends for a 2 nights getaway. Had a suite and an adjoining room. So much room for 5 of us and very comfortable and clean. Loved the full breakfasts and the dinners were delicious. The view of mountains was so special while enjoying our meals. Would highly recommend. This is our 3rd girls trip.
The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are very nice, we really love the outdoor heated pool and hot tub. The lounge is very nice.
The only downside would be the restaurant, flat out awful! Extremely limited menu, very much overpriced for food that had clearly been sitting around all day, our dinner rolls were stale and hard as a rock. Avoid the restaurant completely!
We all had a great time. Location was convenient. Enjoyed sitting by the massive fireplace. The rooms were large and clean. The employees were awesome. The food was great! We will be back next year!
Absolutely fantastic experience. Welcoming atmosphere, extremely clean rooms and grounds, well maintained and care for property. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel during our stay and the staff was outstanding and the food was excellent. We are looking forward to returning in the summer.
Loved the hot tub and heated pool on the <10 degree morning. The breakfast was also very tasty. Will stay again in the future.
Clean.. nice people
Nothing
Truly a hidden gem.....The room, breakfast, brunch and dinner were all wonderful........enjoyed our weekend thoroughly...
The couples massages were wonderful as well....
Will go back in the near future for sure:)
Been here several times. Due to loving it. The new hot tub is a down grade. Not nearly as big as the old one and not as sanitary. Everything else was pretty good though. The food at the restaurant was great and the bed was extremely comfortable
amazing visit. we will be back
Breakfast was outstanding, both the food and the service.
There was noise at night from the unit above us. Probably young children.
Breakfast was fine. The room was clean, rug in good condition
Bottom of shower curtain insert could use a clean
The room was super clean!! Beds and pillows were comfy. I love that the housekeeping staff was friendly - always smiling (and genuine). And having a coffee bar a few doors down was a bonus!!! Because we had a 3 year old with us, we spent a good part of our time in the pool.
There was nothing we didn’t like.
Great hotel and service. The sauna was so nice and the heated outdoor pool was awesome. The gym has all you need and the hotel is first class. However, the omelets that come with the breakfast are super tiny; what a joke. We were up there for New Year’s and we had a wonderful time.
