The hotel is super beautiful and esthetic. Liked the boho style interior of the rooms and the place overall. The pool is great, the fact that the beach is 5 min ride from hotel didn’t bother us at all. The grill and Asian restaurants are really good.
The bartenders were nice to us, but not all staff were great.
The biggest negative side is the staff, some of the waiters forgot about our orders, but especially the gentleman called Shocruti/Chocruti in Tacorini restaurant. First of all he was rude to all guests:
On the dinner he brought the wrong food, that was for a different table and tried to convince us that it was our order. Then the next day on the lunch the same gentleman brought the main course, but when I asked him where is my starter, he told me not politely that it’s not available. I was trying to choose another option and was rushed to choose smth quick, however, that was not my mistake that some item was not available and I was not informed about it. When i tried to get second dish from main course i was again rejected in a rude way. Then we saw that the other guests were treated in the same way.
The food in buffet is ok, but sometimes I feel like they need more options. The rest was fine, but overall experience was wasted because of the service. Bartenders, except the beach club were great.
the hotel itself is beautiful, very calm, and perfect if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing environment without too much noise or crowds. The suites are extremely spacious and very comfortable. Honestly, the room was one of the best parts of the stay. The property also has multiple pools and the overall atmosphere is aesthetically pleasing and relaxing.

The breakfast was probably the most consistent meal during the stay, likely because the food seemed fresh every morning. Unfortunately, the rest of the dining experience did not meet expectations at all.
At the restaurant called Volcano, I ordered their blondie brownie dessert, and it honestly tasted old, like it had been sitting there for several days instead of being freshly made.
The following day, at the Japanese restaurant, I tried their ginger flan dessert, and it was also very disappointing. It did not taste fresh whatsoever, and it gave the impression that desserts are prepared in advance and left sitting for too long.
On Saturday afternoon, I ordered a pepperoni cheese pizza, and it was honestly terrible. The pepperoni tasted old, and the food actually made me feel sick afterward.
The beach restaurant experience was not much better. Several menu items were unavailable, and when we ordered one of the dishes, one of the main sauces listed on the menu was missing and replaced with something else without proper notice. Overall, the kitchen operation feels poorly managed and inconsistent.
Another issue is the entertainment. The hotel really needs a nighttime show or entertainment experience that matches the resort’s theme and ambiance. There is a nightclub on the property, but honestly, it does not feel like a real nightclub and does not add much value to the experience.
Additionally, there are some policies that simply do not make sense. Even though the resort is advertised as all-inclusive, certain beverages still require additional payment, such as bottles of wine outside the standard selection.
What was even more frustrating is that if you book through a third-party platform like Booking.com, they reportedly do not add membership points to your account, even if you are part of their membership club.

The only pluss for me was the quietness and decor
The food selection was limited, the room service was terrible, only two restaurants available for dinner, the beach restaurant food was bad and good food poisoning, and food undercooked.
Zel Punta Cana promete y cumple con la diversidad y calidad en su servicio e instalaciones. El personal está siempre atento a lo que como huésped puedas necesitar y es claro su compromiso con hacer de tu estadía algo especial y relajante. La variedad gastronómica con productos de calidad es algo que me sorprendió, siendo superior a la de otros resorts de este tipo. Cabe resaltar la limpieza de las habitaciones, áreas comunes y sección exclusiva de la playa, sumado a la disponibilidad permanente de traslados al interior del resort.
Lo único que podría mejorarse es la atención en el bar al lado de Parda, junto a la piscina. Más allá de indicar que existe una carta de cócteles, es importante que la persona que atienda tenga sugerencias y se mantenga ese trato amable del resto del personal.

Die Musik war schon zum Frühstück sehr laut , auch im Strandrestaurant so laut das man dich während des Essens nicht unterhalten konnte, es waren viel zu wenig Sonnenschirme an den Liegen

Beautiful resort, spacious suite, responsive WhatsApp concierge service, and an amazing spa were the highlights of my stay. Location was good.

Sehr aufgestelltes Peraonal, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es hat einen guten ‘wipe’. Die Hotelanlage ist schön, übersichtlich und sehr gut in der Palmenumgebung eingebettet. Herlich!
Für ein 5 Stern Hotel ist der Service zum Teil nicht professionell genug aber mit Ihrer Art und Weise kann das Personal das wieder wett machen. Es ist toll, dass ausschliesslich Dominikaner arbeiten.

Nicely landscaped. Large guest room. Variety of pools. Decent gym. Buffet food was very good.
It’s a 10-12 minute walk to the beach, though they do run frequent shuttles. A dearth of available beach loungers, so get there early to snag a chair.
