This appears to be an older facility than hasn’t been updated. The staff were really nice and accommodating and the breakfast was great. You were only give two towels and when asked for more they only brought up one extra.

The lobby and staff were amazing at Grand Dafam. Every morning Leila was very pleasant and made sure we were taken care of. Our first room had mold in it but after addressing our concerns with hotel manager Joco, we were upgraded to an executive suite. Joco provided great customer service. Overall the staff and breakfast made our stay at this hotel wonderful.
Probably just renovating or not. But the hotel was not like how described. We found a bowl of noodles in the fridge from a previous customer. The pool was dark and dirty looking. The road near by was noisy day and night.

I booked a superior non-smoking room for just one night but they said none is available at that moment. But the receptionist then kindly free upgraded our room to deluxe one. Thank you ! Nice and cozy room. But the lift is a little bit creepy it made a sound like it needs a better maintenance or something while going up from 5-10 floor.
The location is good . The maintenance side of the room needs to be looked at. The hand basin taps are about to fall of. A bit more fresh air flow would be good.
Our "non-smoking" room was a "smoking" room until the day before we arrived. It smelled terrible.
Great family suite. Very convenient for a family of 5. Great breakfast options. Delicious. Close to fun parks and the old city.
Food was fantastic very good choices, great buffet cant go any further. What l didn't like was not enough staffing on Sundays, Buffet food ran out, plates in several section ran out. . I had to clear my own table to sit , Restaurant Manager could hardly be seen. These issues could easily be fied but l had no problems regarding this ,the Management should take as a positive feedback and not negative.
Nice area, and the apartment was quite spacious and comfortable, although the breakfast selection could be improved.
Overall is good, but for breakfast need more variety menu.

The rooms are very dirty, got insects everywhere.
The aircon is useless, we changed 3 rooms and nothing changed.
All in all a bad experience
The room is not even close to what we see in the pictures.
Its super dirty, the aircon dosent work, its stuffy.
Very unclean, with insects all over and washroom has cockroaches.
Even after changing 4 rooms there is no difference.
It was a terrible experience at the concierge. We made a booking for 2 BR apartment, the staff at the front insists that it was only 1BR even after showing after printed confirmation details. We had to argue for 30mins before they acknowledged it was their mistake in the system.

Really disappointing stay at Hotel Aston Marina.
Day 1:
Once inside the lobby there was a very sharp smell of cigarette in the reception area. There is a smoking location but the smell is spread throughout the lobby. Not healthy for family which bring kids.
The room that we ordered using a Queen Size bed and not available, unique, but we have booked since April 2017.
Day 2:
We were transferred to another room and it was adjacent to the highway so that the sound of the trailer came to our room. The impermeable system did not go well.
Day 3:
We were moved to 22nd floor and very dirty condition. The floor of the room felt sticky.
We were disappointed to stay at the Aston Marina. Unresponsive staff, management (Manager On Duty) contacted very difficult. A holiday that ended in disappointment.
Will not comeback
This hotel didnt reach my standards, I rearly write a review about a hotel but this hotel nobody should stay at.
We stayed 1 night, reserved for non smoking room but was given smoking room.
The room was newly renovated so it was very nice and clean. however, it seems that the bathroom was not included in the renovation.
We were allowed entrance to the restaurant for breakfast, but no table were available. There should be some sort of table management during breakfast, but it was great selections on the buffet and plenty of food.
Staff was friendly. However, during check out we asked whether parking ticket is needed to get free parking and the fo said yes, my wife ran to the car to get the ticket but it turns out we were given a voucher and it was not necessary to get the ticket. Just need to pay attention to what the customer is saying.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. Nice hotel.
