The location was good to my itinerary, i loved that they had a Hala restaurant on the second story.
Really loved that the hotel is committed to implementing sustainability goals as much as they can.
The staff were so welcoming and helpful they helped me with my luggage shopping process from Kyoto to Osaka, also the helped with exchange the Yen i had to smaller currency
The room felt old and not clean, the sheets and bellows were tinted yellow and smelled like an old man😅 luckily i brought with me my own bellows and sheets.
The bathroom and bathtub did not feel clean as well and had the old yellow tints

La habitación estaba limpia y era cómoda. Excelente relación calidad-precio
Habia demasiada humedad y el baño no tiene extractor por lo cual toda esa humedad pasaba a la habitación, el aire acondicionado no logramos que funcionara correctamente. También creo que seria bueno que tengan tv smart, los que tienen solo tienen canales de tv local.
It was a good location, in between a few major metro stations and an easy walk to the rail that takes you across town to the Arashiyama Bamboo forest.
The room had a smell of lingering smoke, like it used to be a smoking room and then was converted to a non-smoking room. The shower bottom was starting to peel, so it was a well worn and used room but a bit dingy.

The staff was nice.
Got the room with a window facing the other building's wall which was like 1 meter away from the window, so basically didn't see any daylight.

The value to dollar ratio is amazing. Also the fresh orange juice machine. Crazy.
Would stay again as a backpacker - but not as a couple. May prefer something bigger, but dont get me wrong - the hotel was alright for the price and should definitely be considered.
