Very central location, a hotel with a lot of charm and character. Especially the room. The entrance hall & where you have breakfast is OK but not as nice. Friendly staff. Easy to park nearby (10 min walk).
Breakfast was a joke! Ubeda is not super lively compared to other villages/cities...

Muy buen lugar en el que alojarse para visitar Úbeda. Ciertamente supera las expectativas. En un alojamiento muy bonito y confortable.
El horario de recepción puede resultar algo extraño o incómodo.
La ubicacion centrica y en casco antiguo, perfecta, desayuno muy completo para su categoria, y la habotacion estilo mediaval, preciosa. muy como da y bien cuidada.
This little 9-room hotel is in an old palace for minor nobility in a great but hard-to-find location in the old city center of Ubeda. It is charming but faded around the edges: plastic flowers in the vases, tile floors with faded painted-on imitation carpets, dust on some of the beautiful antique furniture and objets d'art. The elevator worked fine., Beds are immense and reasonably comfortable, would sleep at least four. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Maintenance was sub-par: bits of mold in the shower enclosure, a handle to the shower enclosure came off in my hand, a small air shaft/courtyard had meter-high untrimmed weeds growing nicely . Breakfast was hardly passable: the only warm things were coffee and tea and bread rolls put into a toaster. No eggs at all, the only meat was cold boiled ham out of a plastic packet. Pastries were tired and tough. And the abundance of plastic flowers could be lived without.

Location was great and our room was quiet. The bed was enormous and it was rather nice to have bathrobes and slippers.
Our bedroom was located at a lower level to the ensuite bathroom. Access between the two was via a set of irregularly shaped steps resulting in a couple of perilous trips to the toilet during the night. The unfamiliar surroundings, combined with a room that was so dark it was impossible to locate light switches by touch, there was the very real danger of an accident. For our own safety it impossible to go the toilet without disturbing one another by switching on random lights.
The breakfast window of just one hour between 9 and 10 seemed quite restrictive.
