Room for improvement.
Pros:

Friendly staff, comfy pillows, good breakfast and central location.

Cons:

The bed was king sized but the quilt wasn’t big enough to cover it. Bathroom fixtures were old and looked a bit unclean although I think it was mainly limescale. Toilet didn’t always flush effectively. Kettle was provided but no tea or coffee and only tiny cups. My partner hit his head on the TV, which is wall-mounted in an ill-considered location just inside the door to the balcony. Lots of noise audible through the walls until late at night. Bedside light didn’t work, although it did make a noise when switched on. Furnishings were tired and shabby. A bit mystified by the high rating this place apparently has.

The most hospitable hotel in a lovely area. Staying here is a must!!
Pros:

I honestly cannot say enough nice things about Urkmez. From check in to check out, the experience was so wonderful. First, the location is perfect. It is central and near everything but also nice and quiet at the same time. The room is comfortable but small and has a lovely balcony, overlooking of the side streets in downtown Selcuk. It's great for people watching but also very nice and quiet. You can see the castle as well! The staff could not be nicer and I mean it! What a lovely family. They went out of their way every chance they could to help us find restaurants, tours, cabs. They also recommended having dinner in a nearby town, Sirince, which we never would've known about! Selcuk was lovely and we had such a wonderful visit at Ephesus but what made this leg of our trip so memorable was The Urkmez Hotel. Also the breakfast was delicious. You can tell they really care about their guests. I have already been recommending them to my friends and family. If you plan on visiting Selcuk, STAY AT URKMEZ!!

A lovely little hotel right in the centre of town!

Pros:

Очень приятное место, гостеприимный и отзывчивый персонал. Расположение отеля отличное. Место на парковке нашли, хоть и сложновато там припарковаться, но это мелочи жизни. Жили на третьем этаже, но чемоданы нам помогали и спускать и поднимать, за что отдельное спасибо! Завтрак очень вкусный.

Cons:

Устаревшая ванная комната, которая требует модернизации.

Pros:

The staff's desire to please. Very helpful and accommodating. They are always present when you need them.
The location in Celçuk is amazing. Close to a lot of historical sites.

Cons:

It is not a luxury hotel but very reasonable for the charge. And so accessible. Great restaurants around, close to museums, Mosque's and a short drive to incredible Ephesus.
