Excellent venue with excellent service and food
Pros:

The whole experience was very good, excellent hosts, the venue is really welcoming and you can picture yourself on a cold winters night in a great place with great customers.
The food was delicious and bedroom was a good size and really comfortable bed.

A delightful off the beaten track village pub
Pros:

Our room was clean, spacious, comfy and stylish. The staff were chatty and friendly. The roast was excellent (My Yorkshire pudding was a little overcooked but it was taken away and replaced with no fuss). Delicious sticky toffee pudding. Breakfast was very nice and filling. Plenty of cereal and toast, juice, tea, coffee and a full English.

Cons:

Not and issue for us but there was a open mic night while we were there Well managed by staff and finished at a reasonable hour

Pros:

Comfortable room, excellent food and service. Amazing Seasonal decor and lovely staff. A great albeit short stay. Will definitely return.

Cons:

No bowls for dog in room , coffee machine didn't work
Breakfast we couldn't take our dog in , so we left as no point waiting for Breakfast
The toilet was full of really dirty water and stained
