Grande Kloof Boutique Hotel

Liked most. Deidra and her team were very personable and nice. They took time to make my stay enjoyable. Alec dropped me off at some places I needed to go. The bedroom was great and the bed very comfortable. Nice residential area.

Very clean. Very safe. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location with great views. Delicious food. Quiet and tranquil .It was so good that we extended our stay❤️

The staff goes all out with assistance of anything you’d need. The whole hotel is clean and smells good.

Super stay for 5 days with my grandson on the occasion of our participation on Cape Town Cycle Tour.
-Very willing staff- all people starting by manager Deidre Abrahams continued to all the staff by reception, restaurant, kitchen
-Nice room with nice views
-Very pleasant garden with swimming pool
-Located in nice place of See point

From check in to check out, we received top notch service! Our friends recommended this lovely hidden gem! Small boutique hotel with minimal rooms that are quiet, clean, and cozy! Nice breakfast every morning and drinks in the evening! Always felt welcomed and well taken care of. Kudos to the lovely staff!

We loved our stay at The Grande Kloof Boutique Hotel. The hotel facilitated our airport transfers. Our driver, Chrispin, could not have been more welcoming and fun. He was a wealth of information and pointed out places of interest both to and from the airport. The Grande Kloof staff was simply amazing. The breakfast chef was phenomenal. Her cook-to-order creations were almost as delightful as her infectious smile and charming personality. I would readily stay at the Grande Kloof when visiting Capetown again.

Do not be deceived by the photographs on all the websites... the photos look amazing - the reality, not so much...
We had booked the Sea-View Wing Suite Top Level Deluxe via Expedia... Room 306.
The location and views were great. The room was pretty much the same as the photo but could definitely do with a cosmetic upgrade. The bathroom was dreadful... old and dated! The description on Expedia stated the room offered cookware/dishes/utensils/oven/stovetop/toaster - totally inaccurate - so I basically paid for something that was never there!
Pleasant staff... was lovely talking to Sarah, Miriam, Ester and the two gentlemen who were at Reception overnight. The miserable rude lady who sat at the Reception Desk on the right could certainly improve on her customer service skills.
Breakfast was nice, had a good selection of vegetarian choices... however the fruit/baked items were not replenished once guests before us had taken.
Overall, definitely not worth the amount of money I paid. I've stayed in less expensive hotels with higher standards.

We had a verywonderful stay at Grande Kloof .The location was perfect a walk to the beach .Would highly recomend, the rooms were very clean, staff was friendly maager Alec , Mimi and the hosekeeping went over and above to make our stay memorable

Room smell cigarettes, no towels, no toilet paper... The staff really don't care. I pay 2000R for my stay and the room was miserable!

Frukosten var väldigt enkel. Inga pålägg till bröd eller yoghurt till flingor. Lite tråkig på ett boutique hotel att inte värna mer om gästerna.

Super friendly staff. Very helpful. Breakfast was good. Great location-great view. Bed was very comfortable. An update on the decor and flooring would be nice. The floors are painted concrete-but rugs are on the floor. I believe it was good value for the price.

Everything was perfect, the staff are very friendly and professional. The manageress ‘ Mims ‘ is a true gem. Will definitely be back!

The food was not prepared in time and the food was not well prepared. I did not like anything about the lunch that was offered on Christmas day.

The best safe place to stay in. I can recommend anyone to go there and experience the friendly staff service as well with their manager .The breakfast is mouth watering you can even want some more ,the rooms don't want to even say anything ,they are clean, very sparkling .
Will go and visit again next year on my birthday especially celebrating it on their Gazibo area smelling a nice sea breeze.
My friend you don't have to hear from anyone what they experienced in this hotel ,just go and have fun .

Dirty room, poor housekeeping and service. Definitely not a four star hotel. No door to toilet and hole in the bedroom wall to bathroom in bedroom leaving no privacy. We asked to move another room. There are better hotels around the area. No drinking glasses, tissues or reading lamps in the room.

It is a great option if you go for vacations and need a place to go to sleep and take a shower.
Room is large and confortable, but with many steps. I had some issues with the water in the shower but all of them were solved.
Next time in Cape Town I am going to book here again.

Best location ,the hotel is close to everything staff is super friendly .My room was spotless clean. If you are traveling on a lower budget this is the best place to be compared to the other hotels around i will definately come back next year..

Filthy, disgusting accommodation. Left within 15 minutes of checking in. Please just don’t. The pictures you see are a far cry from what you get. I couldn’t run out of there quickly enough. Almost ruined our family holiday, having had to find alternative accommodation at the last minute. Filthy carpets, bedding, curtains, windows. Old broken cupboards. Cracked windows. Stale smoke smell in the apartment. I wouldn’t sit down in this place let alone stay there.
