Awesome spot,

Cons:

Paid premium price and was incorrectly allocated a disability access room. Got to reception early (around midday) and while all other guests arriving on the same and subsequent buses were given free early check-in, we were told we would have to wait for "out type" of room without ever specifying what that was. This went on for 3 1/2 hours before we were finally given a room 30 minutes after stated check in. Even though we didn't need it, what type of hotel makes their disabled guests wait longest for a room anyway. The staff member was less than diplomatic in delivering their news and just laughed off my complaint when they finally gave us a room. If you are having a bad day maybe front desk is not the place for you.

Hotel in guter Lage am Wasser und mit gutem Frühstück
Pros:

Das Frühstück war sehr gut, es gab eine schöne Auswahl und wir hatten die Zimmer mit Blick auf's Wasser gebucht. Das Zimmer selbst war den Erwartungen entsprechend.

Cons:

Was mir grundsätzlich, auch in anderen Hotels, missfällt sind die lächerlich kleinen und offenen Schränke und die wenigen Ablagemöglichkeiten für z.B. Pullover, Wäsche etc.

Modernes Hotel in toller Lage
Pros:

Modern, viel Platz, gemütliche Betten, gutes Frühstück, tolle Lage, Polarlichter direkt vorm Hotel

Cons:

Dame an der Rezeption hat ewig gebraucht, was dann als viele Gäste kamen und gehen wollten doch zu Problemen führte.
Teuer, aber so ist das in Norwegen

Wieso sollte ich in der Zukunft dieses Hotel wieder über Booking.com buchen, wenn ich die gleiche Buchung direkt über Thon Hotels für SFR. 120.- billiger buchen kann.

Great stay for the night after Havila voyage up the coast to Kirkenes
Pros:

Great hotel with sea view (in this case, a lot of ice!). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean and well maintained hotel. Wonderful location and exceptional breakfast. Would stay here again (wish we could have stayed longer) and give it a high recommendation, especially if one was coming off the northern leg of Hurtigruten/Havila and flying out.

Cons:

Expensive (as Norway can be), but probably correctly priced given supply and demand.
