Pros:

There was plenty of sun in the room & space!

Cons:

That they need information on the main door once office is closed. It was very stressful that the room we had was at the front. When you had drunken people trying to get in because they didn't take notice at checkin what the details were.

What a great find
Pros:

Beautiful rooms in an old fashioned setting yet modern amenities. Short walk to main street and the place where we were going. Great basic continental breakfast and the staff were so accommodating. Even went above and beyond expectations. Thank you

Sehr gute Lage und das Hotel mit altem Charme.

Cons:

Ältere Gäste sollten aufpassen Zimmer unten zu bekommen. Die Treppen sind recht steil und lang.

Pros:

The continental breakfast was good. Exactly as expected. The room was OK. The bed was excellent. The bathroom was well appointed but very small. Hardly able to turn around. Hot water and water pressure was excellent.

Cons:

The room needed some more facilities. Such as a table over the top of the mini fridge to put cups etc on it. There was as very dodgy power point. It was live, but not attached to the wall very well. The hair dryer did not work.

Basic but great location
Pros:

The location was fabulous - just a short stroll to the heart of Katoomba and close to the RSL and cafes for dining options. It was a basic hotel but clean and staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. It was a comfortable hotel.

Cons:

The continental breakfast was very basic. The facilities were a bit run down and in need of renovation. There was a lot of noise from other guests talking and laughing loudly until the early hours of the morning - the soundproofing could do with some improvement.
