Very tired hotel, quite grubby, under staffed, online photos make it look much smarter than it is. A very budget hotel struggling to cope it would seem.

Average spot in a great location. Good for the cost concious with lower standards!
Pros:

Great location. Reasonable price. Easy check in. Comfy bed.

Cons:

Lots of mould around windows and shower. Toilet seat broken / loose and far from clean. Carpets dirty around bed.

Simple, honest and friendly
Pros:

Really friendly, I presume owner/manager, on front desk. Very welcoming and the free breakfast a lovely touch. Short walk to Katoomba High Street and next to the RSL for a good feed and opposite a great cafe for the early morning coffee

Cons:

My room was a touch small though it was well furnished considering the size

Quirky and clean old hotel and cottages in an excellent location close to shops and entertainment.
Pros:

Our cottage was a great place for 5 mates to stay on a night away. Quirky but very clean, comfortable and roomy. The hotel itself had plenty of old-world charm. Met our expectations for the area and price. Honestly its all about having the right expectations and this is not a 5-star resort but a local hotel with friendly staff and an excellent location.

Cons:

There are some minor maintenance issues in the cottage that could be attended to but these didn't detract from our stay or overall impression.

great location, comfy bed, clean bathroom.

Cons:

I liked all of it. I did have an upset tummy though and was hoping for a camomile tea or peppermint tea in the tea selection but there wasn't any. Not a complaint, just would have been nice for the non tea drinkers

We were very pleased with this accomodation
Pros:

Breakfast was pretty basic but was suffice. Room was great except for the fungi (mushroom ) growing out of the ceiling. Everything else was great!

Cons:

Breakfast could have had a little more variety and fungi removed from the ceiling
