The hotel was shut when I got there . Terrible. I had to stop elsewhere
The hotel is very convenient if arriving in Calais late. The decor and outside are in a very poor state of repair. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The car park is not secure and we found someone wearing a hoodie looking around our car very late in the night. We feared he was going to break into it.
It was basic but comfortable but clean hotel all the staff were polite nice people easy location for main transportation bus route in Calais
The employees at this hotel were lovely, but there was visible and fowl smelling black mold all over the ceiling of my room.
Property was clean in a quiet area very convenient for ferry but bedroom is looking tired and showing it’s age.
Average hotel, but what ever you do don’t stay for a stopover in CALAIS, YES IF YOU READ THIS HEAD MY WARNING. THIS LAST TIME I HAD FOUR MIGRANTS TRASH THE LOCKS ON MY TRAILER AND GET INSIDE CAUSING MAYBE £1,500 worth of damage to my trailer and contents.when I noticed the damage to the trailer locks we called the police the migrants pushed open the door and calmly walked off leaving me to sort out the mess they left for me .. DONT STAY IN CALAIS,!!!!
I cant remember the last time I managed 7 hours uninterrupted sleep! REALLY good value, clean bed, clean bathroom, I wasn't looking for much and I was absolutely delighted. THANK YOU
Just a quick overnight before a long drive the following day. Breakfast better than usual in these no-frills hotels.
You can't fault it for the price. It was clean and tidy. The gentlemen who checked me in and out were really helpful and friendly.
the hotel staff made us feel very welcome on arrival, a nice clean room . only draw back is the outside of the hotel is looking slightly run down/shabby.
Overnight stay for catching ferry. Hotel very clean, room adequate, clean and the ensuite was a boost. Hotel entrance and reception tidy with some local information available. Staff very helpful and spoken English was good. Breakfast room was bright and airy and breakfast was plentiful as usual. Bread rolls, croissants, pain au chocolat, cheese ,jams and honey on offer along with choice of 2 cereals. Tea/coffee/hot chocolate available. Microwave and toaster also available.
Enjoyed our stay. Well done to the staff for making it a pleasant experience.
Ideal overnight stop over. Could do with a decent pillow on the bed as the current ones are very small and have no head support. Easy to find and just a short drive to ferry, eurotunnel terminals.
It was good
The hotel was fine for staying the night there before taking the ferry to Dover the next morning, especially considering the price. However it was very loud.
We had some youngsters near us on the ground floor who were running in and out of their rooms shouting and banging doors most of the night. Surprisingly no action by staff.
They were going in and out of the rooms.
Hardly got any sleep as we had s ferry to catch 6am.
A reasonable room. No hand towels. A bit cramped for 2 people, but ok for 1 night
Excellent staff, very helpful. Great value for a lower budget; good wifi.
I wish breakfast had fresh fruits but there is a good one (that costs 4 euros more) at another one across the street.
We ended up getting flea bites & the whole hotel stunk of cigarettes we were glad we only stayed 1 night.
Cheap and cheerful stopover before the ferry home. Very good staff, helpful and friendly and spoke great English. Restaurant is only for breakfast, which was plentiful and good value, but not open in the evening. We ate next door at the Ibis, a set meal at around €20....a super deal. Well recommended for a cheap overnight.
Perfect for the last night before the ferry home
