Despite being a loyal guest, ongoing mainteance issues.

The bed was comfortable.

Cons:

I have been a loyal guest at Citadines for several years and have always enjoyed my stays. Unfortunately, this visit was a very disappointing experience.
Upon check-in, the hotel experienced a power outage, leaving guests without power in their rooms for approximately two hours. Once power was restored, I discovered that the air conditioning in my room was not working, making the room uncomfortably cold. I was required to change rooms multiple times late in the evening before finally finding one where the air conditioning appeared to be functioning.
What was particularly frustrating was that I found myself troubleshooting the issue rather than receiving proactive assistance from hotel staff. To make matters worse, the air conditioning stopped working again overnight. When I contacted maintenance the following morning, the staff who attended seemed completely unaware of the issues I had already experienced, including the power outage and previous room changes. This lack of communication between departments was disappointing and made the situation even more frustrating.
While the maintenance team eventually resolved the air conditioning issue, the entire experience significantly impacted my stay. As a loyal customer, this is not the level of service I have come to expect from Citadines. Based on this experience, I would rate this stay 3/10 and am uncertain whether I would choose to stay here again.

Always a pleasure staying here. Lovely staff, great location and facilities
Pros:

Central location. Quiet and facilities were excellent. Staff at the front desk were extremely friendly. They even extended my check out time as I was participating in the Mother’s Day Classic race. I always stay here if I’m attending concerts or other exhibitions in the CBD.

Clean room but not accurate check in imformstion.

Good location and the room was a good size and clean.

Cons:

The advertised check in times were incorrect. I arrived early so I understood that my room wouldn’t be ready, but when I arrived back at the posted check in time the staff said my room wasn’t ready for another 30-60 minutes. I think it’s pretty unprofessional for a hotel to be late to a check in time when they would charge you late check out fees.

Citadines is our first choice when visiting Melbourne
Pros:

We were given a room with a view as requested. This was much appreciated.
Excellent location.
Tram stops outside which makes getting to and from Sky Bus with luggage very easy
The room was equipped with all the facilities we needed.
The room is spacious and layout perfect. We like having the handbasin outside the toilet and shower. Good to have 2 mirrors including a full length.

Cons:

The ice box in the fridge was fully frozen, and I had to try and remove some of the ice as the fridge door wouldn't close properly,

Fantastic experience. The staff services were top-notch—very professional and accommodating.
