Very pleasant stay

A pleasant stay in a convenient location
We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Parma Oriente. The hotel has a nice atmosphere and is well located, making it easy to get around and explore the area.
Our room was comfortable and clean, and we found everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit, and we particularly appreciated their welcoming attitude.
Breakfast and the overall service were perfectly satisfactory for this type of hotel. We had no particular issues during our stay and felt that the hotel offered a good balance between comfort, location and price.
Overall, we enjoyed our experience and would happily consider staying here again. A good choice for a stay in the area.

Traditional Italian hotel hospitality in beautiful Montecatini Terme
Pros:

Great position for exploring Montecatini Terme & a short walk to the funicular up to beautiful Montecatini Alta (lively & stylish with fabulous restaurants).
We thought all the staff were excellent - Julia on reception was especially helpful as were the barmen & the restaurant staff.
The hotel has a traditional Italian feel which we love.

Sono una persona disabile, mi son sentita accolta, ho trovato una gentilezza e una disponibilità ormai rare . Diciamo che mi è piaciuto tutto, è stato un weekend meraviglioso. C'ero già stata e se potrò ci tornerò di sicuro

Nice Old Charm Hotel that seriously lacks "Old Charm Staff"......so sad.
Pros:

The Hotel Building was impressive, the breakfast was not short on choice, the room could be described as a "tight - fit", and we failed to find the tea/coffee making appliances. The pool and the surrounding area was lovely (a degree in engineering would have been an asset in adjusting the sun loungers).

Cons:

The attitude of the staff was lacking in communication, almost indifferent automatons, within the seconds of checking in we were asked to pay (I paid weeks in advance). Then an error was admitted, and we were then asked to pay the Tourist Tax ( the request was withdrawn)!! We were then asked if we wanted to pay for the special party night as they needed to know!!! We had spent 12 hours travelling,tired,hungry and thirsty and they wanted our money, before we got to our rooms. Not a great start. This inhospitable/unfriendly attitude appeared to be a staff attribute (cleaning staff excepted). There were other episodes, suffice to say we left a day early, aggrieved is an understatement.

Pros:

Ottima posizione (vicinissima al centro ma soprattutto alla funicolare per raggiungere Montecatini Alta, che ne vale davvero la pena essere vista, sia di giorno che di sera tutta illuminata).
Personale staff molto gentile e cordiale, un ringraziamento speciale alla massaggiatrice Tessa e al receptionist Cristian, entrambi TOP.

Znośny, zdecydowanie nie na 4 gwiazdki

Basen, leżaki, miła obsługa w recepcji

Cons:

5/10 – duży potencjał, ale hotel zdecydowanie wymaga remontu

Największym plusem hotelu jest duży basen z solankową wodą. Woda była czysta, podczas naszego pobytu było przy nim praktycznie pusto, a leżaki są bardzo wygodne. Niestety na elementach basenu widoczna była czarna pleśń. Nie ma ratownika, apteczka była bardzo słabo wyposażona, a basen czynny jest tylko do 19:30. Muzyka jest tak cicha, że praktycznie jej nie słychać.

Na plus bardzo wygodne łóżka oraz smaczne śniadania, choć dość monotonne.

Niestety hotel zdecydowanie wymaga remontu i większej dbałości o czystość oraz stan techniczny. W łazience była pleśń, suszarka ledwo wisiała na jednej śrubce i co chwilę się wyłączała, a okno balkonowe było uszkodzone. Klimatyzacji nie dało się całkowicie wyłączyć i nie sprawiała wrażenia czystej – podczas jej działania miałam napady kaszlu.

Wi-Fi przez większość czasu praktycznie nie działało. W pokoju nie ma czajnika ani zestawu do przygotowania kawy czy herbaty. Gniazdka pasują tylko do cienkich wtyczek, przez co nie mogłyśmy podłączyć własnej suszarki ani prostownicy. Za przejściówkę trzeba dodatkowo zapłacić. Ogólnie miałyśmy wrażenie, że za wiele rzeczy, których oczekiwałybyśmy w standardzie hotelu 4★, trzeba tutaj dopłacać.

Dotyczy to również SPA. Wstęp kosztuje 35 EUR za 2 godziny, a 25-minutowy masaż 45 EUR. Opłata za masaże i zabiegi jest oczywiście zrozumiała, ale w hotelu reklamującym się jako „Wellness & Spa” sam dostęp do strefy SPA powinien być, moim zdaniem, wliczony w cenę pobytu.

Dziwna jest również organizacja śniadań. Mimo dostępnych miejsc na zewnątrz nie można tam zjeść – można wyjść jedynie z kawą. Pan obsługujący salę bardzo stanowczo tego pilnował i niestety był przy tym mało uprzejmy.

Dodatkowo bezpośrednio przy hotelu prowadzone są obecnie głośne prace remontowe, co w ciągu dnia utrudnia wypoczynek.

Podsumowując: hotel ma świetny potencjał, przede wszystkim dzięki dużemu basenowi, wygodnym leżakom i dobrej bazie wypoczynkowej.

La struttura é un po’ datata, comprensibile per la zona, ma i servizi sono veramente fantastici. Colazione buonissima, lo staff é gentilissimo e pronto ad aiutare. Posizione perfetta per raggiungere il centro a piedi tranquillamente.

Die zubuchbaren Massagen waren sehr sehr gut, absolut empfehlenswert! Poolanlage mit Platz für mehr als genug Leute und sehr gutes, beheiztes Wasser. Terrasse von unserem Zimmer war extrem groß.

Cons:

Die Poolfliesen waren teilweise schon beschädigt oder komplett rausgebrochen und der Pool war leider nicht jeden Tag sauber

Convenient hotel in a good holiday location.
Pros:

Comfortable bed and good sized room. Nice pool in a lovely spa town reasonably close to Florence and Pisa. Peaceful vibe and helpful staff. Free parking available a few minutes walk away.

Cons:

Shower was a little small. Train / car essential to explore further afield.
