Basic, but room for improvement.
Pros:

Location, quiet, room size (suite), breakfast.

Cons:

Booked a suite as it had a kitchen area, but it was disappointing as there was only the standard kettle, cups, etc.
There’s space for so much more, with maybe a toaster, microwave, cutlery, etc.,and it would make the suite so much better.

Do not stay alone in the annex if you're a woman travelling alone. Very dodgy.
Pros:

The wedding I attended was nice. The area is nice.

Cons:

Someone entered my room during my stay and left my door open (not cleaning services) during the evening when I was attending a wedding on site. When I complained to staff I was told they knew what had happened and they moved my room from the annex to the main hotel. I had to move my own things at 11pm at night from the bottom of the hill to the main hotel. Was promised a refund by staff for this experience, they have dodged communication. Also no locks on internal doors in annex.
