Excellent service from the staff who were friendly and helpful. Nice extras such as crisps, cake and biscuits.
Fro the money, I would have liked a fridge in my room and less furniture. The room seemed a little cluttered. Also, there were far too many emails from Booking.com about the stay. It became and continues to be rather annoying. I book a room at a hotel. I don't need reminding via several emails that the stay is coming up, or asking whether I'd like to book dinner, or get a lift arranged from an airport. Please stop doing this.

Friendly staff, great restaurant, beautiful buildings with perks like free snacks and super delicious cake at 3pm.
The original room we were offered had a tiny wasp's nest in it - probably because the windows didn't have screens. We were moved to another room which we were told was an "upgrade." The room was probably more expensive because it slept 4 people, but there were only 2 of us. We liked the first room a lot better. Also, we weren't offered any help with our luggage as we moved from one room to the next (and the rooms were in two different buildings).

Had a disturbance one night ( not the fault of the hotel ) but it was dealt with very well. Excellent customer service.
The room was beautiful and very comfortable. I was cycling the Etape Caledonia the next day which meant a very early start. Staff put on breakfast bags for the cyclists from 5.30am as we would have left before breakfast. Lovely setting also for the hotel with easy access to town centre.

It was one of the best experiences in Scotland we have received during last 10 years traveling there. Quality on every step, very good culinary in restaurant and on the breakfast table. Amazing location with beautiful park around.

Rooms can be small, but I like it
I couldn’t have imagined a better place to celebrate my birthday. It was absolutely wonderful. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that our room was already available from 11 a.m., and the view from the “Wild Cherry” room was simply breathtaking. The royal-style bathroom, incredibly comfortable bed, and luxurious toiletries made our stay exceptionally relaxing.
The food and drinks were of the highest quality, and the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. After check-out, we were allowed to stay longer at the hotel, which was very helpful due to our late departure.
We will definitely come back. Finally, I must mention that the garden, the sounds of the birds, and the surrounding area created an absolutely unforgettable experience.
De kamer. Erg ruim en super comfortabel.
De omstandigheden bij het ontbijt. Men kwam met karren en spullen langs de tafel om verderop iets op te bouwen. Deur naar buiten stond open waardoor het erg fris was. Het buffet werd alleen na vragen aangevuld.

Fernseher nicht vom Bett aus zu sehen, Lichtschalter konnte nicht getrennt geschaltet werden (hatten „zwei“Räume), Klimaanlage ging nicht nicht, bzw. wir konnten sie nicht bedienen 🤔

The property setting and interior spaces are beautiful! The service and staff are excellent. The bed is comfortable and the towels plush. The location of the hotel is quiet and just a few minutes walk into town. The snacks are delicious and available always. I couldn’t expect any more from a hotel!
