Pros:

An exceptional hotel. Beautiful decor, homely touches and great attention to detail in the rooms. Very friendly, helpful staff. We were sorry to leave.

missed opportunity at a cool location
Pros:

absolutely astonishing interior in lobby, bar and restaurant. rooms are also very well designed with a lot attention to details.
the remote and quiet surrounding in the mid of a little park is a real plus

restaurant has a small but good menu and a great cocktail and whisky list

Cons:

staff is very mixed, some are really kind and helpful others simple overstrained.
this beautiful place does not make use of its plenty of options, no wellness area, gym, jacuzzi, yoga deck. no maintenance of the outdoor sitting area, no fire place... whisky and some board games is not enough to feel really home and want to stay a bit longer at the premises.
bed is rather hard (no typical British box spring bed), at least for now everything is new and well maintained

Il fatto che non avesse l' ascensore e che ho dovuto aspettare molto per fare il check in.

Schönes Interieur, kein Must See
Pros:

Das Hotel ist wirklich schön eingerichtet. Zimmer, Essensräume, Bar, Eingang, wirklich alles sieht gut aus.

Cons:

Generell wirken die Mitarbeiter vor Ort etwas überfordert, egal in welcher Abteilung. So schön dass Hotel innen auch ist, im Aussenbereich fehlt die Liebe.

Comfortable hotel and excellent food in the Fauna restaurant. Be prepared for the costly drinks and breakfast.
Pros:

Comfortable and clean with professional staff.

Cons:

The room was not ready when we arrived at 1520. Expensive. The return walk up the hill from Pitlochry town.

The location and hotel are beautiful. The service could have been better - felt like we had to ask for a lot and nothing

It has been beautifully restored

Cons:

The heating in our room was very challenging - 26 degrees at midnight which meant we had to request a fan upon returning to our room.
