Pros:

Sits on such a beautiful littel square. Want to send a special thank you to the young gentlemen on the reception. Since there is no elevator at this facility, he lugged up most of our heavy luggage to our room for us. On the morning we left it was before the breakfast at 8AM but he kindly prepared a couple of take away coffees for us.

Pros:

This hotel was truly wonderful, and while staff was not the most comfortable with English, they did the best job of ensuring that our stay was comfortable! The location was unbeatable and the breakfast was very good! The newly refurnished rooms were well equipped, comfortable, and spacious. Would stay again!

Lovely hotel
Pros:

Spacious clean hotel within walking distance of small local shops and restaurants. Quiet location. Room was large and comfortable. Buffet breakfast was great. Small negative in that there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Charming character in Bacharach
Pros:

Our stay at Hotel Am Markt was amazing. The hotel is located in the heart of Bacharach and is a quick walk to many restaurants and sights, as well as the Rhine River. The daily breakfast buffet had a wide range of options. Our room was very clean and spacious.

Quaint charming hotel. Walkable area. Had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The location was great. The only downside is the flights of stairs and no elevator.

Highly recommended historic hotel
Pros:

This nice hotel in a historic building in very quaint and historic Bacharach was a joy to stay at. The location is in the beautiful town center a short walk away from the Rhine, a famous ruin, a castle, and a number of great restaurants. The service was good and the breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended.

Very central location in the Bacharach
Large, excellently renovated rooms, ours had a wonderful view.
Very friendly staff.
Better than average breakfast.
Note: if you arriving after six, makes special arrangements

Pros:

Charming location but we found our room (one with a balcony) a bit stuffy as we could not get the AC to work. There was a note taped to the AC that said 10 euro charge to use. I have never seen that before. Shower was small for me. I am 5' 10" 170 lbs and could have used more room. There was no elevator which was not an issue for us but could be for others. Breakfast was good. Nice town and if you do visit, make sure you take the trail to the top where the castle is located.
