Couldn’t have been happier with our stay here.
Pros:

I would have no hesitation in highly recommending these apartments.
All staff met were very friendly, especially Ben the gardener who rescued a frog mouth owl trapped in a palm tree just outside our bedroom window!!!.
The apartments are truly luxurious, spacious, modern, comfortable, very well equipped ,impeccably clean and well priced.
Ours was a 2 bedroom, deluxe apartment on the ground floor and we were delighted with everything about it, modern, quiet, very well equipped for cooking in if needed, BBQ area if preferred, pool area lovely, tennis court and beach just across from the complex.
Due to heavy rain fall in the area we had a change of itinerary, thankfully The Mandalay could accommodate us for an extended stay which we were very happy to avail of.
If looking for accommodation in Portdouglas these apartments are truly really worth considering.

Wonderful place to relax after touring the rain forest and the Great Barrier Reef.
Pros:

We loved the layout of the apartment, it had the perfect space for our family of 6. The kitchen was well equipped nd the beds were very comfy. We enjoyed the tennis court and the pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Pros:

Large space, close to everything, perfect for family / large group stay. Aircon kept the place cool enough for the Scandinavians!

Cons:

Washing machine probably needs a service / upgrade as drum was loose and did not spin well. Could have had a few more essentials ie paper towels, cling wrap / foil, salt and pepper.

Pros:

Well appointed. Perfect for three couples for a few days.

Cons:

Possibly a few running repairs to be attended to. Shower knob in main bathroom needs attention and knob missing from dimmer switch in kitchen so hard to turn light on or off.

Fantastic stay that is close to town.
Pros:

Great location. Staff were very friendly both over the phone and at the hotel. It was amazing to walk in later in the evening to find a note to say we’d been upgraded! A beautiful surprise after a big week at work. Great spot to walk straight out to the beach. Enjoyed every aspect of our stay. Everything was clean and even had board games in the cupboards for use.

Cons:

No cutting boards in the unit and the microwave didn’t work. Wasn’t the end of the world but just to note for next time.

Great accommodations and Ruby at the front desk was wonderful!
Pros:

It’s just a short walk across the street to the beach, where they do have the jellyfish stinger nets set up. Even the Sheraton Grand Mirage doesn’t have that-so it was good that that was so close.
And it’s just a five minute drive to McCrossen Street, which is the downtown area. Very well located and beautiful apartments.

Cons:

I do wish there was a hot tub, but the pool is very nice. There’s also a very small private pool on the other side of the property where there were never any children. Nothing wrong with kids, it was just nice to relax by the pool there and it was quiet.
