Room is tight, bathroom is tight, water is weak, it was off sometimes, lobby, corridor and restaurant were hot, A/C is not enough at all,

Great staff and hotel!

Nice facilities - clean and nice staff. However, the beds were not great. The biggest problem is there is minimal noise proofing and the hotel is next to three large mosques which have very loud calls to prayer.

Very noisy hotel. Amneties are limited and bad.
The cleaner came and banged my door several times after 5 PM despite the fact I asked her that I just got the room, and it doesn't need any cleaning. The room next to me has an electricity issue, and the wiring was passing through my room.
However, the Egyptian guy at the reception was the only great thing in this hotel.
Very respectful and helpful.
The room was clean but too small.
No safe box.
AC was weak.

Location:
The hotel is located in a cramped, third-world-esque area which was not pleasant to be in. It is 11 mins by rail to the central attractions like blue mosque which is decent. However, the area the hotel is in is crowded, cramped and ugly.

Service:
After 15 hours of travelling to get to the hotel, I checked in tried to have a brief nap before exploring the city. I was awoken by banging on my door from an extremely persistant housekeeping as there are no "do not disturb" door handle hangers / signs to use. A few minutes later I was again awoken by knocking on my door by this time by 2 men saying they need to complete some "electrical work" in my room and wanted me to leave for a while. I then left the room to visit a restaurant and was told the maintenance would take approx 30 mins, I arrived back at least 30 mins later and was made to wait in the lobby for at least another 30.

Room:
Here is the main issue with this hotel, the rooms look nothing like they do in the images on Expedia. They are extremely dated with old furnature, switches that don't work / do anything and not to mention, false advertising. I booked the hotel through Expedia where it stated the hotel had 4 single beds. As I am traveling with 3 more people this was great. Upon arrival, I was given a room with 2 single beds and a double bed. This is not even close to the worst part. Here is a list of some issues with the room:
- Exposed electrical wiring in the bathroom
- The bathroom door doesn't close

Hôtel sale, ancien, pas de nettoyage, salle de bain ancien et beaucoup de tâches d'humidité, tâche sur les serviettes dite propre
Lit et drap en mauvaise état.
Personnel incompétent
Service insuffisant
Chambre trop petite
Pas de parking propre à l'hôtel comme indiqué mais parkings gratuits au alentour si vous en trouvez ( beaucoup de passage)

Emplacement intéressant mais beaucoup trop de bruit.

Je conseille à personne cet hôtel.

Personal kann nicht grüßen - generell unfreundlich,
Zimmerreinigung war eine Katastrophe,
Beim Frühstücksbuffet war der Käse verschimmelt,
Bettlaken hatten nicht übersehbare große Flecken,
Duschkopf war komplett verkalkt, sodass das Wasser nicht gut fließen konnte - zB Haare waschen als Frau war eim Horror.
Würde das Hotel keinesfalls empfehlen!

Green Anka Hotel is very bad place to stay, I had reserve a room for five nights but once they find out that you book online they will give you the worse room ever. I had many complains but they never answer once. room never clean, shower over flood, washroom celling leaking, the fridge has
bad odor mold. and more if go on list will be so long.

Gros problème de fenêtre (Mécanisme et isolation sonore très mauvaise)
Linge de lit sale et jamais changé
Salle de bain très sale (gros trou béant présent dans le plafond, nous avons demandé à trois reprises de le réparer mais jamais fait)
Problème de communication parle difficilement l'anglais
Personnel très froid et pas du tout souriant ni accueillant
ATTENTION PAS DE LIT BEBE DISPONIBLE DANS CET HOTEL ( nous avons négocié 20 minutes pour en avoir un) .

The only good thing basically about this hotel is its location. But you get what you get what you pay for.

Friendly environment and all staff can speak English which helped. Very cooperative and knowledgeable people in reception highly recommended 👍
