A frustrating stay with basic service failures, only saved by the location.
Pros:

The only positives were the convenient location for airport access, about a 25-minute drive, which is useful for a short overnight stay before or after a flight. Additionally, the room itself was clean upon arrival, which we appreciated.

Cons:

The overall experience was extremely disappointing and far below basic hotel standards. Despite advertising private parking, we arrived around 21:00 and were told the parking was already full, which defeats the purpose of offering it. Upon entering the room, we discovered there were no towels, even though reception had assured us there would be extras in the closet, which was not the case. Instead of proper service, we were instructed to go into a hallway service closet and take towels ourselves, which is completely unacceptable. While the bed had basic sheets, there was no blanket or duvet to actually cover ourselves, so we had to take one ourselves and even put the cover on it, something I have never experienced in any hotel. The air conditioning was not working, making the room very stuffy, and opening the window was not an option due to loud street noise. The room’s soundproofing was extremely poor, and we could hear every person walking in the hallway at night. Overall, the staff seemed unmotivated to provide even basic service, which was especially noticeable compared to my frequent hotel stays around the world.

Pros:

The beds were comfortable. It was a friendly hotel. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

It was a 20 minute walk back at the end of the day from the train station. No buses late in the evening.
