Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou at West Lake

Right at the doorstep of the West Lake this is a beautiful property with immaculate gardens that made morning walks all the better. The service from the team in particular is worth noting, we had an wonderful pre-arrival experience in which the highly experienced team (in particular Lulu & Amber) helped us arrange and manage our various activities and restaurant reservations during our time in Hangzhou. This was also executed faultlessly by our guide Forrest. If you can, definitely book the private boat experience which takes you off the beaten track of the West Lake - unsurprising that the area has inspired artists and poets from centuries past.

Delicious Jin Sha restaurant which had already come highly recommended prior to our stay by friends but we were blown away with the most delicate Zhejiang cuisine. We'll be back in hopefully the not too distant future and cannot wait to continue discovering Hangzhou in its many seasons.

We had a amazing stay here. Both the Italian and Chinese cuisine are great, especially the Chinese. Also, any staff we encountered treated us so well and gave us the best experience. Special thanks to our room attendant Clark for the cute gift. We loved it!

Beautiful vintage setting, great food and amazing gardens. Not great value for money at the price point, Hangzhou as many options at one fourth the price which are great five stars for visiting the area.

下雨、天氣寒冷時主動準備雨傘，甚至貼心把物品直接送到房間，讓人不用深夜外出取物，真的很感動。

早餐時服務人員會留意是否需要補熱茶，上餐節奏也安排得剛剛好，可以慢慢享受早晨。
整體服務自然不做作，卻處處讓人感受到被照顧，是會想再回來的飯店。

On the shores of West Lake, the location is unparalleled—simply fantastic—and invites a leisurely round trip along the Su Causeway and its surroundings. And the hotel itself! A dreamlike place, with its beautiful gardens, magnificent buildings, and enchanting pavilions. Indescribable. The rooms are comfortable and completely silent. In the lobby, the guzheng is played live every afternoon, providing the perfect tone for the hotel’s perfect atmosphere. Excellent breakfast. For dinner, we tried Jin Sha, which serves traditional Chinese cuisine.

It is important to note that the staff has an excellent command of English.
My only regret is not having stayed longer

The facilities were grand and luxurious. Appeared clean. Staff were all very well mannered and helpful. Can speak English.

This has been the best hotel I have stayed at, it is a little expensive but it was well worth it.
The staff are super helpful and you get so many extras.
The Jin Sha restaurant is also very good as well.
Highly recommended.

The hotel is out of this world. Being so close to the lake and near the botanical garden, the location is great for people who love greenery. The hotel staff is exemplary in their service. They are so helpful and always speak with a smile. Facilities such as pool and the breakfast is great! Would highly recommend this hotel.
