Ein Genuss. Jederzeit wieder.
Pros:

Insbesondere das Personal. Vom Empfang über das House-Keeping-Personal bis zu den Doormännern eine ganz hervorragende Qualität über alle drei Tage. Zum Geburtstag wurde zum Frühstück eine Mini-Torte mit Kerze überreicht. Dazu war vor der Eingangstür zum upgegradeten Zimmer eine rote Fußmatte gelegt mit dem Text: "Happy Birthday". Nicht zuletzt möchte ich das herausfragende, außergewöhnliche Frühstück mit einem Angebot welches ich in anderen 5-Sternen-Kategorien national wie international in der Weise noch nicht erlebt habe. Vorbildliches Management.

A truly memorable stay - absolute luxury!
Pros:

We have stayed in a number of NH Collection hotels in Europe and the US, and the Porta Rossa hotel has become our favourite of them all. We requested a room upgrade in advance, but was pleasantly surprised to learn that the hotel was upgrading us complimentary to an even better room; a junior suite. Our stay was phenomenal. The room was beautifully decorated, very comfortable and clean - it was modern but retained periodic features. Whilst the immediate view was of another building, this did not detract from where the room was situated in the hotel. There was so much sunlight coming through the room, which we loved, and looking down and across gave a lovely view of the Pizza di Santa Trinita at one end of the street and the tower of the Palazzo Vecchio at the other. There were some special little touches that we really appreciated e.g. slippers being laid out before bedtime. The bathroom was very large and well-maintained, facilities were great. The staff at the hotel were so kind, helpful, and accommodating. They went out of their way to make our trip wonderful, such as making dinner reservations for us at leading restaurants and recommending other places to gain an authentic Florentine experience. The lobby and bar was beautiful, we had some wonderful cocktails and wine there, whilst enjoying the cellist as evening entertainment. Finally the location of the hotel was perfect - everything was walking distance and the area and street of the hotel felt incredibly safe. This was a truly memorable stay and we are so grateful to the hotel staff for making this such a treasured experienced. We were really spoiled by so much luxury. Grazie mille a tutti, we will be back for sure and recommend this hotel without hesitation!

The perfect stay in Florence!!
Pros:

I cannot recommend this stay enough! Not only is it one of the oldest hotels in Italy, but the location is perfect with all the major Florence sights within walking distance, alongside a lot of amazing local Italian shops and restaurants. The staff are absolutely fantastic and we’re the most welcoming to us. To name drop a few; Nadine, Stefano, Nirvan, Antonietta, and Gianni had all helped us settle in and made sure our stay was well accommodated for. The rooms are super clean and cosy (especially the beds) and the breakfast spread was more than perfect.

If you are looking for a solid stay in Florence that will not disappoint, you have to stay here!!

Stunning in sight scent and service!
Pros:

Aesthetically, as soon as you step foot into the hotel, you are blown away. It is stunning with forgeous detail, fantastic service from every staff member and the place smells divine! Every day our rooms were cleaned well and the turndown service was also lovely - a littlw chocolate is put on the pillow every night.

Es un hotel confortable, limpio, con una ubicación muy buena y un desayuno fantástico.
Pros:

El hotel es un antiguo palacio. Tiene una ubicación fantástica, se puede llegar andando a todas partes. Por la noche es una calle tranquila y nada ruidosa. Tuvimos una habitación muy espaciosa en la primera planta del hotel. El desayuno muy variado y muy bueno con fruta fresca.

Cons:

La primera habitación que nos dieron estaba en la 4ª planta, daba a un patio interior y era ruidosa por equipos de aire acondicionado y el ascensor. Solicitamos un cambio de habitación y nos cambiaron a una habitación mucho mejor en la primera planta sin ningún problema.
