Clean and comfortable
Bad lighting over the bathroom sink
Convenient. Accessible parking. Clean. Fun vintage vibe.
staff very rude none of our rooms were together
Location first our planned route
Room clean and quiet. Fixtures appear new and room well cared for. Kudos to the owners and staff!
Room was clean and updated
No staff at the desk when I needed assistance.
Had several flies and gnats we were fighting all night
Its in a safe, walkable area. We enjoy the bar and grill short walk down the street...good steaks, reasonable prices.
Beds are good, fun retro feel to the rooms.
Wish they had a small covered area to sit and smoke to drink coffee.
Check in was super easy. Very clean room. Beds were extremely comfortable. Bathroom clean. Very quiet. Would highly recommend!!
Would definitely stay here again.
Ease of check in and staff were fine.
The room smelled like sewer the entire time. I felt like I was going to be sick 😫
Disappointed after reading all the reviews. Poor running water in bathroom, double lock was broken and manager walked into room without knocking.
Just mediocre.
Fridge in the room was good. Linens were clean.
I typically don't consider dated and worn as a detractor as long as it is comfortable and mostly functional as that pretty well describes me. The disappointment came with the mirror was hazy and streaked until I polished it with a washcloth - good to go. Then this morning, when I went to take a shower, the curtain was nasty and stuck together at the bottom. Those were the only disappointments but I can't recommend it and probably would not stay there again while recognizing that anyone can have a bad day.
Cute, quaint, friendly.
Nothing...better than expected.
It was close to xpressway and our dinner.
If had a weird smell like windows should be open more often.
Not everyone’s idea of “clean” is the same, but my room was indeed CLEAN. I forgot to bring shampoo, so it was nice that there was some in the shower. Also, a pump soap dispenser in the shower makes so much more sense than little individual soaps. Lots of other little amenities: hair dryer, coffee maker, mini fridge, cell phone charging station, excellent (new and clean) air conditioner, hand lotion, quality bedding and pillows, thick drapes. Being out in the middle of nowhere without a lot of competition, it would be easy for an establishment to cut corners, but this hotel went the other direction and created a decent and affordable place to stay the night before heading out to cross the wide open plains.
I couldn’t get the deadbolt in my room to make contact with the hole in the door frame. I ended up jimmying the chair in the room in such a way as to feel secure. I’m sure if I had asked the front desk for help with the deadbolt they would have helped, but it was late and I was tired, so I made do.
