although check in was late the staff reassured me they were working on my room and making sure to get it ASAP. A worker offered me to upgrade me complimentary!!! LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT MY STAY

We come every year for state basketball tournament and stay on the river walk. Good location!

Room for improvement
Pros:

Great breakfast Right on riverwalk so walking distance to the alamo. Shops and restaurants everywhere.

Cons:

There were no coffee in the lobby. This is first place in 60 years that didn’t have coffee made in the lobby. Receptionist told me to walk across the street to get coffee. You wouldn’t think not having coffee would make you go to another hotel but it will. It’s very important.Did not like using a community soap condenser to get soap. There should be individual soap bottles.

The breakfast was amazing and the rooms were so clean. The staff was also very helpful and nice all around. Theres also so many things to do around the hotel without even needing to drive!
