Size of the apartment, location, cleanliness
Noisy party during part of the night just in the room besides ours. I understand that the hotel is not responsible of the behaviour of their clients, however, the hotel should not allow people to make a kind of karaoke party with plenty of (mature) people all inside a room at 2 am
This was a complete embarrassment of a hotel. Went to valet and I know they are third party but this is your first image of the hotel. Valet showed no signs of hospitality as they just cared about getting your keys. No assistance to unload your luggage or even grab luggage cart. YOU do it all even though you are paying decent bit for valet and the hotel.
Check in team was not friendly and seemed to just want to get though our check in which was quick because I pre checked. No personal touch and no further information about hotel given.
Room should not have passed turn from night before. Looked like room had just been used before we got in it. Toilet paper was torn. Bed sheets were torn and had holes in the sheets on the bed.
Shower was worst set up I’ve ever experienced. Shower head was in a spot where you hit the glass of the shower every time you move. Had the shower trim on opposite side of shower head which was where open half of glass is. Once again did not make sense.
Dirty towels, marks on walls, and holes in the ceiling.
Do not stay at this hotel.
Nice facility in a nice area of town.
Noisy people above us kept us up late and got us up early.
Nice facility
The tv kept going out.
Will definitely stay here again!
Perfect location near the harbor. Lots of cute shops and restaurants within a short walk. Big, bright room. Friendly staff.
Very friendly staff.
The location is great . Close to everything, the front desk team and valet were all very kind and accommodating
I stayed midweek, when the hotel was fairly quiet, yet I was assigned a room directly above ongoing construction. Both mornings, I was jolted awake at 6:50 a.m. by loud banging and trucks. While I understand the hotel does not control the construction itself, it would have been a reasonable consideration to place guests as far away from the noise and view of the work as possible. A little foresight in room assignments would have made a big difference in the experience. On top of that the floors were covered in some type of sticky oil that had me slipping and sliding , the bathroom was also less than clean.
Room misrepresented in photos. One room. Would not provide comforter for kids.
My wife and I recently went to a beautiful wedding in Portsmouth. The Residence Inn in Portsmouth delivered! Very convenient location close to food, shops, the waterfront and major roadways. We were also able to find free overnight parking on the street right by the hotel. That might have been luck! There seemed to be local garages charging $20 so consider that added cost when you book. The room was large and clean with a nice kitchenette, separate bedroom with a king bed, a pullout sofa, and two big screen TVs. Free breakfast was what you would expect from Residence Inn. The hotel felt very new. You can't go wrong if you choose this location.
The location is great. Comforting curbside appearance. The neighborhood is filled with great finds in dining. Our suite was clean with exception of some hair we found in our tub/shower. Overall the furniture is showing its age.The valet parking guys were excellent!
Great location. Very good condition. Shower control has flow control too. I hate hotels where you can't control the flow. We did tell the hotel. It would be nice if they had more towel racks or hooks in the bathroom to hang the bathtubs. Also, if you don't want to pay the valet service you can just drive your car yourself to the Foundry garage 3 blocks away. Breakfast was good. We did give feedback that we wish there were were real cutlery and ceramic plates instead of plastic, plastic and plastic and plastic. There is a lot to do in Portsmouth. There is dining and shopping. There are tour boats that go out to the isles of shoals and the beach is in Rye.
