We found the hotel decent enough, it was clean and the rooms were spacious. It also was in a great location.
I did find the rooms not as great as the reviews, the furniture has a lot of marks on, the bed wasn't that comfy and the shower curtain wasn't great, however it was clean enough.
I did want to use the Sauna but you had to book a slot for yourself to use it, so that I found strange. Hotel breakfast was ok, ive had alot better.
Overall, I was happy enough and for the price we paid. Although I probably wouldn't recommend it.
We booked a large deluxe studio room on a corner which had a huge superking bed and big lounge area with windows on 2 sides. Unfortunately our windows faced a small bar which even on a super cold empty February stayed open until 3.30 am on the Saturday night and the loud music kept us awake. The curtains weren’t blackout either so the room was also quite bright at night. This was a shame as the amenities are excellent, the breakfasts are generous with fab buffet and it’s in a great location for the old town. The dinners are also excellent. The receptionist was very unsympathetic on checkout saying all the deluxe studios face the street (we obviously didn’t know this when I booked). She said that basically we had booked a room facing the busiest street in the old town and would have been quieter in a smaller, cheaper room at the back facing the courtyard. So it was my fault for paying more for a bigger room. I checked the noisy bar’s website and it has opening hours until 5am. So possibly stays open even later in the summer! If you stay here please don’t make the same error as us. Book a smaller room at the back. Unless you’re a night owl.
We love the room, and the housekeeping always keeps it so clean!
A localização do hotel é excelente.
Excellent stay, I’ll definately stay again
Posizione ottima. Si possono raggiungere a piedi i monumenti principali.
Hotel molto consigliato
We loved the calm feeling of this hotel. It was quiet and peaceful and was in a perfect location. Our room was top notch, very comfortable with lovely views. Breakfast was organised with a good selection. There was nothing not to like and would definitely recommend
Having to leave
Stayed at this property for 4 nights in mid-December; we booked a room called Studio Apartment with Double Bed, and ended up with a 6th floor room with a nice view of inner courtyards and nearby office buildings. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable, with a separate seating area, kitchenette and big closets. The only minor issue that we had with the room was that the water in the shower was frequently changing from hot to cold, but it was rather manageable. Other than that the hotel has a very good location, right in the middle of Old Town, with just a few steps from major squares, i.e. where the Christmas Market was taking place. Buffet breakfast was included in our price and was very tasty and quite elaborate. We very much enjoyed all the hot foods, salads/veg and sweeter items such as fresh crepes and delicious syrniks (cottage cheese mini cakes); good options for a vegetarian meal, and some vegan options too (plant milk, beans, veggies etc). The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Their onsite restaurant is actually a Michelin Star restaurant and can be in very high demand in the evenings. Due to lack of available tables during our stay, we asked for our plates to be prepared as take-out/ room service, just so that we could try their menu, and the food was very tasty. We also tried their gym, which was really tiny, a 1-person gym, with a small set of dumbbells, 1 treadmill and 1 old Atlas machine, but it did the trick. All in all we really enjoyed our stay here and the very walkable location right in the heart of Riga’s Old Town. I would highly recommend this hotel to others!

Het bed dat is wat hard
Nydelig gammelt hotell midt i gamlebyen. Nydelig mat i restauranten.
