Aircon did not work properly. Probably just unlucky with the room we got.
When we ordered our coffee they were out of milk so had to go to shops and brought our coffee to us just under a hour later. When I wanted to go to the bar to order a drink to take upstairs, they were closed at 1am. I asked reception if I could at least order a coffee but they said no. So much for the advertised 24 hour coffee.
Breakfast was 25 RMB per person despite it advertising as included. They did not have a chef available to take our order of eggs or anything but rather had a small little electric pan that can take 1 egg and we make it ourselves. Needless to say the queue for that got long and the pan got messy quick. Their coffee was also instant coffee with sugar and creamer 3-in-1. Only fruit was watermelon and no proper meat either. Mainly just cooked veggies and noodles.
Town was nice despite the constant rain. Hotel is very centrally located and rooms were clean. Washroom is a built in plastic bathroom (like a plane but bigger). We asked for a bath tub when we booked but never got a response from them and ended up with a shower.
Reception English is pretty bad. The bakery and food shops (not in hospitality industry) had better English than the reception who work with tourists on a daily basis. They were friendly though and helpful to an extent.
I don't think I'll come back to this hotel but will probably visit the city again
