Beautiful location and facilities
A wedding was held in our second night. We were emailed the night before arrival that the bar and restaurant were not available due to a private function. We had to sneak to our room as a wedding ceremony was being held and we had to either go out or sit in our room. Not great! They should not have this sort of function with other guests staying as the hotel doesn't suit it!
The view, the tranquility and nature
Short stay
Superb setting with nice mountain view, particularly from the swimming pool.
Very comfortable rooms with nice balcony.
Staff: pleasant and very efficient
The swimming pool is too small for the size of the hotel.
The reataurant is average and expensive.
The wine selection is rather poor.
Great location, great view from our room, the staff is extremely friendly and lovely (probably the best part), the food was really great!
The spa is a bit disappointing, not convenient to go the the external spa and always full so we did not get even a chance to try the bath. The pool (external) is not heated enough.
L'emplacement exceptionnel.
Le personnel adorable !
Our stay at Alpaga Hotel & Spa in Megève was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel genuinely welcomed, creating that rare and wonderful feeling of being truly cared for throughout our stay. The level of hospitality reflects the very essence of five-star service — warm, attentive, and effortlessly elegant.
One of the highlights of our mornings was the delicious breakfast served directly to our room. Every detail was beautifully presented, the quality was outstanding, and the homemade granola was simply unforgettable — something I will definitely keep dreaming about long after leaving Megève.
My husband and I would like to extend our sincere thanks to every member of the team for making our stay so special. Your kindness, professionalism, and dedication created an experience we will always remember, and we very much look forward to returning.
Everything was perfect
Staff was very nice and helpful. Bed was very comfortable, towels clean and of good quality. The swimming pool and hamam were nice. We also appreciated the rustic concept of the hotel.
Breakfast was not completely what you expect in a 5-star hotel. Pastry was exceptionally good but cheese was cheap and bad quality, charcuterie was average and little choice offered . There was no salmon.
Amazing property - giving a 'chalet' feel while not far from the action. 30 min walking to centre Megeve but free shuttle is available.
Great views, territory and facilities, rooms, staff.
Good breakfast but choice of stuff can be a bit better.
I won't comment on a Michelin-star restaurant, but Bistrot albeit not bad is overpriced even by Megeve standards.
Asked for a wake up call but there wasn't any - rare hick up in otherwise great service.
Fantastiska rum och service.
Allt var jättebra.
Tout était au delà de nos attentes et nous avons ainsi pu en profiter au maximum ! Parfait !
