The propriety is one of the nicest I’ve stayed at. Very relaxing atmosphere, comfortable large pool area. Breakfast and lunch options are delicious. Room was very comfortable and spacious.

The only problem I experienced was both adjacent rooms were smokers and did so on their patios. We couldn’t enjoy our patio or leave our do open while they were doing so. The property has a health spa and other wellbeing activities, but allows smoking on the property. I would consider this next time.

Pros:

Ac didn’t work in the room. Charged me wrong rate at checkout took me half hour of arguing to fix it. Doors to bathroom in room wouldn’t close. Grounds nothing special. Really disappointed.

The service stood out as exceptional: staff were attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming, which made our experience even more enjoyable.

We dined at the Michelin-starred restaurant and opted for the Tuscan tasting menu. While the presentation was elegant and the ingredients clearly fresh, the overall experience felt underwhelming. The dishes lacked the complexity, depth, or wow factor one might expect from a Michelin-level experience. Flavors were mild and not particularly memorable — it felt more like a standard fine-dining meal than a standout culinary experience. Service in the restaurant remained attentive and professional, but the food didn’t quite live up to the reputation.

Fantastic stay!

Absolutely magical stay! The grounds and landscape are beautiful. The restaurant was incredible. The ease of access to explore Cortona was great. Incredible service. I can’t wait to come back! My only regret was not staying longer.

Absolutely fabulous stay! We came as a family of 4 with our 2 college students. The rooms were perfectly appointed, the staff went above and beyond. We mentioned that we wanted a wine tasting and they made that happen the next day (a Saturday). The food at breakfast was wonderful. Parking was easy. The pool was the greatest end to a day. Dinner at Cortona twice while we were there was fun! We will definitely be back!

Der service ist extrem schlecht! Junger schlecht ausgebildeter Service, unterirdisch für ein 5 Sterne Hotel.
Vollkommen überzogene Preise, Eierspeisen werden beim Frühstück extra berechnet.
Essen ist sehr gut, Ambiente auch!
