We arrived on a Monday after a long drive, and although we knew the restaurant was closed on a Monday it would have been nice to at least be able to buy a simple bar snack...

Staff were lovely breakfast was lovely size and well made. Was so pleased with room that asked to stay another night which was sorted with good price

Cons:

Was woke up to manager (a male) trying to enter room in the morning saying I had been smoking which was untrue yes I smoke but not in the room was a bit upset about that being called a liar

Didn’t justify the £70 paid for one night 😔

Big spacious room and the staff were very friendly and helpful

Cons:

The bathroom was filthy shower and sink was full of hairs and the underside of the toilet seat covered in feces and was very noisy as we were by the main road

Came on a business trip, already planning a return trip for leisure.
Pros:

Very friendly reception on arrival. Staff have a great relaxed and warm style. It is quirky in a good way. Really good beer on tap.

It was good for the money
Pros:

Bed great. Very extravagant. Lovely room despite being run down. Lots of character. Telly, tea and coffee. All good

Cons:

Tea spoons dirty - had to wash them
Bedding smelt of aftershave - sheet under duvet instead of bedding change
One wobbly socket for whole room. Not sure fixed wiring test would pass this!
