La Grange Aux Marmottes

Prima locatie om de Pyreneeën te verkennen. Leuk gezellig hoteletje met uitstekende keuken en vriendelijk personeel. De kamer was wel wat aan de kleine kant!

Chambre retenue en dernière minute. Accueil très chaleureux, ambiance montagne et restauration généreuse avec de bons produits locaux.
Chambre "standard" avec douche un peu exiguë et accès parking un peu alambiqué, mais bon rapport qualité-prix.

A perfect home base for our first visit to the Pyrenees.

Una noche en un hotel de cuento. La habitación, la decoración, el entorno, el desayuno, todo perfecto. Quizás el precio un poco elevado.

It has a great location in the mountains, the staff are helpful - it is privately owned which shows - and the restaurant has a great range of regional foods and drinks.

Magnifique séjour, dans cet hôtel plein de charme.
Ambiance chaleureuse et bucolique.
Le personnel, et la directrice, était très charmant.
La cuisine vaut vraiment le détour.

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans cet hôtel. Le personnel est très sympa.
Les petits déjeuners sont copieux, il y a de tout.
L'hôtel a beaucoup de charme, les chambres sont propres et nettoyées chaque jours.
Le prix est correct pour la région.
Idéalement placé pour visiter la région (de cauterets à la mongie en passant par lourdes).
Le restaurant propose une carte et des plats du jours à tomber, tout est excellent ! Le chef cuisinier est vraiment très fort.

Ein sehr romantisches Hotel mit tollem Ausblick auf die Pyrenäen. Sehr nettes Personal und super Küche! Schade dass wir nicht bleiben konnten.

Petit hôtel tout en charme! Très bel accueil, personnel courtois. Une belle chambre et une belle salle de bain bien rénovées.

El hotel La Grange Aux Marmottes excelente, 2 noches que es lo que habiamos contratado con ustedes. Pero al llegar nos comunicaron que solo teniamos un dia con lo cual ellos nos derivaron a otro hotel que se llama le montaigu en esquieze-sere y ha sido un desastre aunque tiene tres estrellas no es lo que nosotros contratamos la habitacion sucia en el baño habia un agujero sin tapar las puertas no cerraban la cama tenia un colchon estropeado que casi nos caemos, y en recepccion nos recibio un perro enorme bastante sucio al igual que el recepcionista. No se de quien sera la culpa, nuestra desde luego que no, pero a nosotros nos causado un trastorno y una perdida de tiempo considerable.

Rapide mais très bien.

The hotel was in a gorgeous little town. We woke up to the most amazing views of the Pyrenees. The room was clean and very comfortable. It was handy to have a fridge. The only concern with the room was the lack of a shower screen which meant the room flooded after every shower. The breakfast menu was lovely with lots of homemade cakes. The dinner was also extremely nice...very well presented and excellent flavours. We were very, very happy with our stay here and would have stayed on if we had more time.

This hotel was a little charm. The staff were lovely, the room was superb and the view was spectacular. To top off our wonderful experience, the restaurant cooked delicious food. I would have to say this was the best restaurant we ate at whilst in south France. The town itself was very small so having a car or being a hiker is a must but we really enjoyed our stay here.

We had a delightful time here. Viscos is a beautiful little town nestled high up in the mountains. Amazing views, fresh mountainous air and a top quality restaurant that was very reasonably priced for the value and quality of food you received. The rooms were large and spacious, with all amenities provided for. The only complaint is that the bed was a little on the small side (my partner is tall) and the tiled floor felt "waxed/oily" under our feet. Otherwise, everything was of top service. The reception was very helpful in places to visit locally and the hotel itself was central to all of the major destinations and areas of interest in that particular part of the Pryenees. Excellent hotel and great value for money. Food fantastic, but service sometimes erratic !

I wish we'd stayed longer. It would have been nice if just one person was good with english. We had difficulty understanding the meal and supplement and were cautious because of that.

This hotel was a favorite on our multi-stop visit to the Pyrenees. I was mostly impressed with the restaurant on site and the quality of the food that was served there.
I found the staff to be friendly and accomodating.
