Navinda Krabi

The bathroom toilet holder was loose and shower spray was leaking. The bed was hard and the air conditioning took awhile to cool the room.

The hotel is very dirty, blood spot on bed sheet. Toilet so dirty and fungus in shower area. Sink is blocked and water is not drained. Smell very bad from toilet . Bad reception guy . Rude . This is ruined my vaccination so bad. Stay away if u don’t want to experience like me. No parking . Electric run off in middle in the night. I have to moved to new room 23:30 . A lot of mosquitoes

I originally booked for the small hotel krabi but when I arrived I was meeted by a very friendly manager who told me I was upgraded to the nearby hotel La Playa apparently because of so little tourism still in Krabi. I was very happy with the process and upgrade, it went really smoothly.

It was a great place with great location.very close to the beach 5 min walk . Only down fall was the restaurant was not open . Allso the bar was closed . Other then that great place to relax .

Overall I would give this hotel a 6.5 out of 10z location. Location is pretty good and central to most things like restaurants and tours.

The room and facilities were dated. Had issues with some plumbing right away, but to their credit they did fix it. Overall staff was accommodating, but not much else.

Beds were very stiff, flat and hard. Area is a bit noisy, but that is too be expected within reason for that busy area of Krabi.

The rooftop pool was a bonus and was very clean.

Pros -
1)it had 2 pools, the top floor pool is nice for just wading and sitting around as there are steps to sit on with the jet sprays to massage you, and is a nice and quiet place to chill and suntan, the lower floor is mostly shaded by the sun and is deeper and cooler, making it a nice place to swim and get a break from the heat of the sun.
2) Service staff is always very poliet and accommodating.
3) Its just beside the Resturant Wan Sai and near a boat taxi service to head to the other islands and Railay Beach if you are interestd
4) Near the beach that is to my opinion nicer than the main beach in front of Ao Nang Town
5) Ao nang Food market is nearer this facility at arnd 10mins walk

Cons
1) Mattress is a spring mattress that is kinda old, so the springs are abit off. I could've requested for a change of room, but basically, I wasnt't too keen as it wasn't a full house and could have easily given me one room with better furnitures. The study table, clothes rack was also rickety.
2) The heated water was also quite unstable, making it hard to control the correct temperature to enjoy a warm shower.. in the end, I mostly showered cold anyways as it is pretty hot in krabi...
3) Breakfast was only ok. I am not one to be very fussy and choosy, but I did feel that the selections were not much.
4) More tarps on the roof of the pool would make the pool a nicer place.

Nice hotel very close to the two beaches easy walking distance ten mins. Two beautiful relaxing pools one in ground floor one on roof level.
The wifi was a bit erratic at times. Fabulous sunset views. Lot more on offer from the hotel than wat it appears from the outside. Daily fresh beach bags for guests

We absolutely loved our stay at small Krabi hotel. The hotel is located perfectly between both beaches. (10 minute walk to ao nang) The staff is among the friendliest people I have ever met. Hotel is very clean. Only wish I could have stayed longer!

Pro:
1) We booked 2 rooms separately & requested for nearby rooms. The hotel gave us connecting rooms with pool access (free upgrade from garden view to pool access room).
2) clean, spacious room
3) provided beach slipper, beach basket with towels & mat - very convenient
4) friendly staffs
5) rooftop swimming pool with nice view
6) allowed for early check in & late check out without additional charges based on availability
7) nearby food stalls & 7-11

Cons
1) the beach nearby the hotel is dirty & not suitable for swimming. Recommended to rent a motorbike to other beaches.

Highly recommend this hotel. Definitely will book this hotel again!!!

We booked the pool access room and LOVED it! Very clean room, with everything you need while on holiday. The air-conditioning was very cold so it was very comfortable, though a bit noisy. Staff was very sweet and attentive, very helpful when asked about how to get around. We went for a couple's massage and expected a private room, but it was just the normal massage place with the curtains drawn. Still enjoyable but I would suggest going to a massage parlor outside the hotel where it would be cheaper. Bit of a walk to the beach, but we didn't mind it as it was a bit far from the beach-side bars, so it was not noisy at night.
Will stay again (and hopefully get the same room)!

I recommend this hotel to those who would like to stay at Ao Nang.
The room is clean and very comfortable. All room comes with balcony. Wifi connection in the room & lobby also superb. Love the beach basket. Easy to carry to island tour.
Massage really good... really love the way they did Thai massage. Worth it to try.
Swimming pool at the roof top, for me its good for relaxing.....
Walking distance to all the shops & restaurants. Near to ATM & 7E.
Breakfast choice very limited at this restaurant (this is the minus part) but for lunch & dinner got more choices.
Communications really problem but anyway we manage to get it solve.... but its not big issue.

Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms very clean, hotel undergoing refurbishment but this had no reflection on our stay. Hotel provides shower gel, shampoo etc in the bathrooms also beach bag with towels and beach mats. Both swimming pools very clean with sun loungers. Great location, great hotel.

Need to improve on cleanses and air circulation. Hotel is old and facilities are very outdated . They don’t even give free mineral water and they charge us. Not recommended to others

Got the Small Krabi for a good price for 2 nights. 5 minute taxi/tuktuk from the pier in which the boat from Phi Phi drops off. 5-10 minute walk from the nightlife and couple of minutes from the beach. 2 good size pools. Couldn’t fault for what I paid.
