Stay at the Miyaka Tennoji for a practical overnight stay that serves an exceptional breakfast!
Pros:

Though the rooms are dated, they are spotless (which, for some, including me) is most important. The breakfast was outstanding - common for Japan, but this breakfast was above our expectations.

Cons:

Carpets and wall panels are old. Clean, of course, but likely need a refresh or update. The 80s color palette would likely be corrected with an update, as well.

2部屋を、それぞれ違った予約サイトで予約しました。

家族旅行だったこともあり、直接ホテルに電話をして、少しでも近くの部屋にして欲しい旨、ダメ元でお聞きしたところ、調整して隣同士の部屋にしてくださいました。

満室の時期だったのにも関わらず、ご配慮いただき、ありがとうございました。

また、駅から直接ホテルに出入りできるのはとても便利でした。

We had trouble finding the hotel. Directions from Tennoji station would have been helpful, e.g. which exit to take.

とても良かった
Pros:

朝食のビュッフェで大阪の物があったので、少しずつ味わえて良かったです。
高めの階を希望で書いて予約したところ、12階にしていただけて、静かで眺めも良く快適でした。
あべのハルカスに近いので、遅めの時間に展望台に行くと空いていて夜景がとても綺麗でした。

Cons:

天王寺駅直結と書かれていますが、JR天王寺駅からだと行き方が少し分かりにくかったです。
このホテルが悪いというより駅が地上、地下と複雑なので仕方ないのかもしれませんが、天王寺に初めて行く方は良く地図を見た方が良いかもしれません。
