I had an incredible stay at the Radisson Blu Gautrain Hotel. The rooms were modern, comfortable, and very well maintained.
A special mention to Precious, Lerato and Moeketsi, who made the stay more comfortable. After a rough day at work, seeing their warm smiles truly brightened up my day.
Overall, the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming.
I would definitely stay here again!

I always seem to be going through Johannesburg, and rarely staying long. This hotel lured me into the city. Two stops on the modern Gautrain ($15 each way) from the airport to wonderful Sandton. The massive Sandton Mall and outdoor Nelson Mandela Square with great restaurants are two blocks away.
Exiting the Gautrain subway station you will be staring at the hotel across the street. The hotel is modern and well-run. Having just come from a hotel that wasn’t well-run, you really appreciate it.
I booked a Standard Room six months prior, and it was such good value I wasn’t expecting much. I was surprised how clean and modern the room was, and it had a ton of amenities. The only downside was the lack of view. Standard Rooms look directly onto a tall building next door. Pricier city view rooms on the opposite side of the hotel have great views, if that’s important.
Wonderful and helpful staff throughout. My included breakfast was expansive in the hotel’s nice restaurant. There’s also a bar across the lobby and a well-priced (!!!) 24- hour room service menu.
I am returning to Johannesburg in a few days. I will definitely be here.

This hotel is perfectly situated for a business trip to the financial district of Johannesburg.

Hotel is a good option as central and opposite train station. Not luxury but reasonable standard. Price based on location rather than quality and service although all the staff are nice and pleasant enough.
Breakfast reasonable with plenty of options. Amos the shoe shine service is the star!
Had a nice stay. For the weekend. Staff are very friendly. But the Team that did it for me was the breakfast team. Very friendly. Our Chef Pretty did the most. Our duo of waiters Tebello and Thulani. To top it all their manager Shakira loved her. Very engaging and well informed. At Check out we met Tamara helped us with a big smile.

Always service with a smile here. I got a free room upgrade to a suite. And Thulani at breakfast was very helpful!
The only downside was a dirty room service tray of leftovers left on the 5th floor walkway for over 2 days of my stay. Found that out of character for them.

I had an amazing experience, from check in, Precious ar reception was a darling. She made my stay very enjoyable. Great customer service, and I loved the complimentary breakfast she gave me. Food 10/10, the room was clean and spacious with modern finishes. Im definitely coming back. And thank you again Precious for the great service.
Very nice hotel, well located, unbelievably secured in the heart of Sandton close by the city mall (10 min walking distance).
The restaurant and gym facilities are world class! Loved having my breakfast there glancing at the lovely streets and Gautrain station. But the most amazing part is the STAFF!

Second visit to the Hotel, home away from home. Once again amazing staff, food great, rooms super clean. Service in this hotel is a powerful tool they possess. Shakira what a lovely individual, diamond smile. Tamara such a live soul and lightens up your day, so much personality.
I had a great stay at the Radisson Blu Gautrain Hotel. The location is perfect, right next to Nelson Mandela Square and Sandton Mall, and just a short walk from the Gautrain Station, which made getting around very easy. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly throughout my stay.
My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with a great entertainment setup including a 50‑inch LG TV. For the area, the price is very reasonable, especially considering how close the hotel is to everything.
Service was excellent. A special thank‑you to Manager Nirushka and front desk staff member Fiona for their kindness and help, they really made my stay memorable. The hotel is clean, quiet, and offers all the amenities needed for a comfortable visit.
I’d happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Sandton.
The check in was seamless, regardless of me requesting an early check in. Kamo was very helpful throughout. Rooms are big and beautiful. Loved the bathroom more than anything.
Quality of hotel:
This was the same as staying at my local travel lodge. Great location could walk to the centre very quickly and one of the tour buses picked us up from there
Staff:
The staff at reception were just rude they barely registered our existence. The restaurant staff were ok but marginally so! The staff could at least pretend there are interested in the guests
Room
Could hear the water pipes in the room we were in so whenever we flashed or someone in the adjacent rooms upstairs or next door flashed we heard the pipe noises like it was in our room.

Our stay at the Radisson Blu Gautrain Hotel was truly memorable, and while the hotel itself is well kept with great amenities, it was the service that stood out the most.
A very special shout-out to Kamo at the front desk, who delivered exceptional service from the very moment we walked in. Kamo has such a warm, welcoming aura that immediately makes you feel at home. He attended to all our needs timeously, without hesitation, and consistently went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of exceptional.
His kindness, professionalism, and genuine care embody the true Radisson spirit, and this was especially evident during the Christmas season. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated to creating a memorable guest experience. Kamo is an absolute asset to the hotel and truly deserves all the nice things that come his way.

Better to stay at the Radisson Blu Sandton. They have better food and services. I was upgraded to a room that made me sick. Thankfully they changed it shortly after I complained. However, why would there be a room with dirty curtains and other atmospheric conditions that my body reacted to in the first place.
