Pleasant enough.
Pros:

Heat in room was great, fireplace and popcorn a nice touch. Safe and convenient location to walk to Asilomar and beach. Price was reasonable. Room amenities were nice, really liked the glass mugs. Breakfast fine, fresh pastries were nice.

Cons:

The plumbing is really loud- whenever the room next door either showered or flushed, sounded like a freight train!
The person upon check-in was a bit brusque and inflexible about both an early check-in ( which did request when asked on the booking page) and late checkout. I get that it depends, but she didn’t make it seem like it was given any consideration at all.

The location is good and the property is well maintained.

Cons:

Our room was on the 1st floor. This wasn't mentioned while making the reservation. This was inconvenient for us because my mother is a senior citizen.

Lovely roons with fireplace
Pros:

Very nice place close to Asilomar State Beach. The Room has a fireplace and it feels just magical. Ideal for a personal retreat or romantic escape
