Honestly, I hate this place. It grossed me out; it was small and noisy. It was like a res room. We paid soo much money for a bed and a tiny washroom.
I briefly stayed at the Civic Hotel from 9 pm to 6 am. The room and bathroom were spacious, and the availability of free parking was a bonus.
Not happy at all wont recommend this hotel to anyone room was so dirty like specially the walls, no big mirror, no hairdryer, bed matress were horrible not confortable at all!! Very bad smell in the hallway and so noisy night time! Very disappointed with this hotel parking also very very limited !! I wont recommend to anyone at all after the experience I had
Noisy- other guests playing music and shouting between 2am and 7am. Did not sleep at all and staff were not around to sort out.
Conveniently located for my early morning flight from Heathrow - a 10min walk to the underground and 15mins on the underground. There was a bus stop immediately outside the hotel too - and a few shops next to the underground station.
All staff are friendly, polite, helpful and understanding.
Thanku for taking care of me so well 😊
Would not recommend staying here if you’re needing decent sleep. Stayed here for 12 nights whilst working in London. I think there was only 1 night we weren’t awoken by noisy guests/airplane noise/ groups of males in the hotel car park through the night/ people arguing outside.
The hotel itself is cleaned daily and the rooms were clean and well kept. The twin room we had was extremely small, just enough room between the beds to walk to the en suite. Car park is awkwardly shaped and if you have a larger vehicle it is next to impossible to leave the car park once other cars are parked up.
Great staff
Adequate room although quite cramped for 2 people.
The room was unbearably hot. A small fan was provided but did hardly anything to improve comfort.
Avoid Room 205.
Stayed for 1 night. Room and toilet was very clean.
Thing to improve: We saw a mouse in the room when we returned in the night. That is a health hazard and not expected from hotel at this price especially given everything else was good about the room.
We were looking for a modest price hotel in a convenient location, and this suited our needs. It was clean and in a good condition. The staff were under pressure during breakfast, but did their best. More staff could be employed.
Overall for the price we paid it was what we expected.
It was ok for budget stay.
The bathroom smelled. Poor ventilation so there was a sewer smell to the bathroom.
It was great, unfortunately no hot water first morning but it was fixed. Just an unforseen incident. Staff were friendly and was clean.
Basic, but did the job for one last night before flying out. Parking was tight, but that was to be expected.
Nice new ensuite.
Great experience, will definitely book again. Free parking, great location to train station, 10 minute walk to Hounslow city centre. Comfortable room too. Netflix, bbc iplayer and other tv apps on TV to watch in deluxe room. Great shower and water pressure. Lovely towels and bathroom amenities.
Had a few issues on check in with the original double room we checked into (wall socket not working and toilet seat broken) lovely reception was made aware and upgraded our room to deluxe room and catered to our needs.
We didn’t have breakfast as we did not need it, but breakfast available to add upon check in.
Overall 10/10 - Thank you :)
I stayed for one night. It was average to what I needed. If I was to stay there longer I probably wouldn't stay there.
The image of the hotel from the outside will deceive you into thinking that it is an ancient, ancient building in which you feel British authenticity.
But the hotel's external view does not reflect its internal condition. You pay nearly 100 euros for a night where you don't even feel safe.
Carpets are never clean
There is hair on the sheets which suggests it has not been cleaned
Samples of shampoo are not enough to wash the head.
You participate in your neighbor's speech and perhaps his breathing.
You have to be a mountain climber to climb the stairs to your room.
The sink is so small that you think it is a miniature model of a sink, and therefore you will struggle to wash your face.
You have to carry toilet paper in your hand because there is no room for it (a farce in every sense of the word)
The hotel, which you will pay approximately 100 euros for, does not have a hall to sit in. I wanted to sit in a hall that turned out to be for dining, and the employee ran out saying that it is forbidden to sit here, this hall is for dining only.
There are hotels of a higher standard for group accommodation for 16 euros, which are considered better.
I don't even recommend going near the hotel.
The problem is that you pay for three or four-star accommodation while the room standard is worse than you can imagine. The only good thing is that the day employee is nice .
In the end, I advise you to sleep in the car rather than book in this ( Hotel).
