Ein traditionsreiches schönes älteres sehr gut geführtes Hotel mit Komfort in Strandnähe.
Pros:

Der Hotelinhaber ist sehr freundlich, er hat uns nun schon zum 2. mal herzlich willkommen! Das Zimmer war wohltuend geheizt und angenehm gross. Das Frühstück war sehr gut… ich liebe den englischen Joghurt dort! Der schöne Strand liegt nur einen Katzensprung entfernt und es ist super, dass das Haus einen eigenen Parkplatz hat!

Enjoyable but only one night on our trip to Land´s End
Pros:

Breakfast was good and enough, the room was very nice and comfortable, the onla obstacle was the step up into the bathroom

Cosy, comfortable stay with a lovely breakfast and fabulous beach opposite.
Pros:

We had such a lovely stay and felt really welcome. The room was quiet and comfortable and we felt really looked after. I very much appreciated all the effort put in for breakfast! The beach was beautiful and a very short walk.

A very relaxing and comfortable few nights away.
Pros:

The owner and staff were all very kind and helpful. The rooms were large , much larger than any modern hotel and very comfortable with a large comfy bed and very nice chesterfield chair. The decor was a bit dated but that all added to the charm. All in all very comfortable and charming. A large and varied continental breakfast was served. The location was good for exploring Poole harbour and the beach and the local bus passes the door.

Very comfortable stay & a good host, friendly, funny & informative.

Cons:

Preferred a cooked breakfast but knew this wasn't an option & the continental was very good

Pros:

Lovely room,location was brilliant. Quiet,pub 2 mibs away. Beach 5mins away over the road down nice little walk. Chris the host was such a gentleman. Ladies that served breakfast were very pleasant. Definitely going again.

Pros:

Grovefield Manor liegt nahe am Strand und ist very British eingerichtet. Zu beachten ist, dass es kein warmes Frühstück gibt, ansonsten ist das Buffet reichhaltig. Es gibt frisches Obst, was für mich ein guter Indikator ist.

Cons:

Das uns zugewiesene Zimmer war sauber und adrett eingerichtet. Als wir aber a die Decke schauten, waren sowohl im Bad als auch im Schlafzimmer Spuren von einem Rohrbruch im darüber liegenden Stockwerk zu sehen, was weniger schön war.

Comme à la maison
Pros:

La chaleur de la réception par le propriétaire - on se serait cru invité dans sa propre maison. La décoration de la maison qui offre un bond dans le passé. La situation isolée dans un quartier très calme, mais à quelques minutes de la plage et juste à côté d'un excellent pub. Le petit déjeuner continental, bon et copieux.
