Good for a very brief stay. Overpriced though
Pros:

We got a room a block away from the main reception area, and it was not decorated like shown on the pictures. However, it was like a small apartment with two bedrooms and a small kitchen which was nice. We could make dinner there. It was clean and comfortable and okay for one night. The reception area was nice and the restaurant has an amazing view. The hotel is located right where the fjord cruise arrives, so it gets VERY hectic during the arrival or departure times of the cruises. It is right next to the Viking Village attraction and there is a gas station with a supermarket very close by. Other than that, everything was "dead" and closed. Not much to do at this time of the year.

Cons:

No Wi-Fi in the room, the TV did not work. The two ladies at breakfast were not very friendly. They seemed annoyed at anything you did or asked for. But the breakfast itself was very good. However not well organized in terms of distribution. It was low season and the hotel/area did not seem too full, but it probably gets crazy during peak season. Not many amenities around the area.

Pros:

The rooms are very nice, with great beds! it's situated in a beautiful location, where you can go hiking, kayaking, ... The restaurant has amazing food and the breakfast is also very nice! Also the staff is very helpful and sweet. We will definitely come back!

Buona posizione sul fiordo

Cons:

Pessimo, camere sporche, poco accoglienti e molto scomode! Colazione mediocre! Trappola per turisti! Prezzo davvero alto per la scarsa qualità offerta! Purtroppo se ne approfittano perché sono una delle poche strutture presenti in zona.

L'emplacement est magnifique. C'est bien d'avoir une voiture, sinon on est dépendant du bus ou du bateau (très cher)

Cons:

Le prix de la chambre est très élevé par rapport à la qualité du logement.
Il y a bien un petit coin cuisine, mais pas vraiment de place pour manger à l'intérieur

Pros:

Spacious property with plenty of comfortable rooms to accommodate our large group size. Location was tranquil and peaceful, and within walking distance to food spots and supermarket. I especially loved the powerful showers!

Cons:

It was quite a hike from the main reception area and hard to navigate with big luggages. It would have been ideal if there was a buggy service to send us to our house.

Pros:

La habitación estuvo cómoda, actualizada, limpia, bien organizada con fácil acceso y personal amable. Está cruzando a un puente de madera de la villa vikinga. Las montañas, el río y el fiordo ofrecen muy buenas vistas. El desayuno estaba incluido y bien servido. Nos ofrecieron también charcutería y muchas mermeladas

Cons:

Los estantes de la tienda de regalos dan hacia el comedor y por la parte de atrás se ven sin decorar lo que siento que le resta el ambiente de cabaña que lograron construir muy bien.

Pros:

Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, vielleicht schon ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen (sehr fleckiger Teppichboden, was bei Winterwetter nicht ausbleibt- hier wäre ein abwischbarer Bodenbelag besser). Die Nachbarzimmer wurden gerade renoviert. Das Highlight war das Dachfenster zum Sterne beobachten und natürlich die Lage in Gudvangen. Das Frühstück war gut (u.a. gab es Waffeln zum Selberbacken).
