深夜は若干暗いエリアになり、1人で歩く等は問題ないかと思いますが、ホテルの前に若い人がたむろしていることがあり、気になる方はいるかも知れません。
The location , close to restaurants
Towels location; relatively quiet.
Rooms are tired ...need serious refurb; no usb charging; technology ( TV etc) is woeful; no facilities in Hotel.

I like the bed.
The safety deposit system. I asked if I could pay in cash and have it returned to me when I check out, as my check out time was around 3 AM and my flight back is 6AM. They said I cannot because no cleaning staffs to check the room. I do not have a credit card, so they took my debit card. They said its pre-authorization and they will cancel once I check out. They did cancel the transaction, but it was deducted from my debit card, and after a few days of communication, they just told me to talk to Mastercard or my bank because they dis cancel on their part. This is poor customer service. Now I don't know if I can still get back that AUS 200 which is not small to let go. The burden of getting it back was on me, while I offered options during check out. That's why my overall comment is disappointing.

No breakfast as was advertised . Room was cleaned every day but a lot needs doing to the rooms. Wall paper peeling , cupboard door hanging off for example. Rooms are very depressing .

It is a bit pokey being an older building. But it didn’t bother me much being by myself in a room. Window was really high and was curtain was a bit broken, so it was hard to close
Stayed for 5 nights in March.
Room was very tired and needed a deep clean - Curtains hanging off the rail, dust, missing net curtain, spotlight out, chipped paintwork, significant water damage to vanity unit in bathroom, only socket for the kettle was on the floor. I mentioned it on my first day and some things were addressed but it still needed a serious deep clean. I was offered the option to move but was told my new room might not be any better.
It's an old building, but there's no excuse for poor housekeeping and a lack of general maintenance and upkeep.
Location is great but other than that I'd avoid. Staff seemed disinterested. No smiles or hellos when you came and went.
GF food available at Deli Gabe but only discovered this on my last day!
