Friendly staff room dated im decorated but clean very warm due to the weather being so cold overall very good stay we will return

We got a room last minute as the apartments we had booked, BCL Albir Playa were like a building site. Really nice and helpful man on reception sorted us put with a lovely room with a fantastic sea view in the sun all day. The room was spotless. Fabulous location on the seafront, you can hear the waves from the room. The breakfast was great with lot's of choice, even chilled Cava if you want it. Our only moan was that there is a kettle and cups in the room but no tea or coffee. Will definitely book again soon. The staff are all friendly..

We booked it at the last minute and staff were excellent and friendly. It's a large hotel but sadly the decor is old and tired. The beds were hard and bathroom was again old and tired. Even though there was a kettle and cups there was no tea or coffee to have

Hotel in good location ideal for a restive holiday. Rooms are fine and beds comfortable. Food acceptable, don't expect 5 star ! Staff friendly . Went with SAGA ,staff great. Coffee in machines best avoided, take your own. Breakfast , you will not starve. ! Wine at table good. Coke at bar only diet but bottled natural coke at table. next visit will be our 4th. R & S H-C

A very pleasant place to stay. Friendly staff, and great meals. Great breakfast, and the buffets they serve for lunch and dinner are really lavish - it's a lot of tasty and healthy food to choose from. The hotel has a wonderful location, right in the centre, yet calm. And nice to hear the sound of the waves while falling asleep and waking up.

Nice stay in Albir with direct access to the seaside. Nice breakfasts, we recommend this hotel for couples and families with children

We had a lovely few days , hotel is in a excellent location right on the seafront & only short walk to bars/restaurants, staff are very friendly & helpful, the hotel was very clean the only downside was the decor , which is dated , very old fashioned but clean , I would definitely return and recommend to fiends , Albir is a lovely town

Been in Albir several times, but never stayed at Kaktus. A very pleasant experience. The hotel is spacious and is nicely decorated and maintained. Of course, the hotel is a few years old, and that might show here and there, but the overall impression is very good. The atmosphere er calm and relaxed, and there is no noice from partying etc late in the evening (at least not this time of the year). Breakfast have all you need, even a few bubbles just in case. We didn't try lunch or dinner at hotell, but we understood theese were served as buffet.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, smiling and are there when you need them. Everyone, from the receptionists to room service staff.

The location is excellent, literally on the beach and the right by the beach promenade from Albir to Altea. And countless alternatives for food and drinks within walking distance.

We had a room at 4th floor towards the south and a quiet street. Perfect, evening sun and cool in the morning. Airconditioning in every room. So is electric kettle and a small fridge. A spacious couch and a small working desk as well. Excellent cleaning of the rooms.

We admit we were a bit excited (some reviews are negative) when booking, but the hotel is really a super alternative when looking for a hotel in Albir. This applies to both older adults (like us) and younger people, including families with children

We might very well come back.

Just stayed for 8 nights half board. Very happy with my top floor room..thanks Alvaro on reception who sorted that out. Big thanks also to Alba, on reception , who took time and patience to help book a trip for me. She speaks good English which made it easy to explain my issue. Very proffessional and helpful! My trip was great too!!

Came back from kactus hotel about a month ago ,we have been quite a few times over the last 3years.Reviews mention needs renovating,They say it will be starting that in November , looking forward to seeing it next year again 🙂.Albir is such a calm peaceful area ,and the Kactus hotel makes our stay even better, everyone is really nice and friendly.As usual faran and all the bar staff look after us . Thanks to you all for making our stay wonderful.Roll on next year can't wait to return again.

We spent 4 nights at in Albir at hotel Kaktus on Jewels of Spain with Titan Tours. Great location and food was wonderful. Also good entertainment.

We stayed as part of a Titan holidays Jewels of Spain. Quite a long transfer from Valencia airport (2.5 hours) but an excellent and efficient check in on arrival.
We had a really nice spacious room, some others were not quite as fortunate. Nice big room, nice clean bathroom, had all we had wanted.
The swimming pool on the roof is rather small and shallow, however the roof bathing areas were great although could do with more sunbeds and shady areas. The outdoor pool is very nice and an unusual shape, it is however again a little small at the swimming part and again needs more sunbeds. Beware of a shelf at part of the pool as you exit.
In the restaurant is a great selection of food at all meals with allergies well catered for. Only issue can be the long snaking queue to obtain food, particlularly at weekends. Being buffet style much of the food is far from hot but at least a microwave oven is provided.
Great location opposite the beach (large stones) and next to the town.
Very nice and helpful people at all times.
Rather noisy some nights at weekends, overall though we had a great stay there.

The all inclusive package is not worth it as the quality of alcohol is very poor and is of a different quality to what other customers are served.
Very noisy on a Saturday night till 4:30 in the morning.

Great location, quiet area but great travel links to Altea, Calpe and Benidorm by bus. Efficient check in at hotel. I agree rooms are looking tired, but food and drinks acceptable for the star rating of hotel. Great place for a chilled out holiday. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Entertainment is more for an older age range. There are English and Irish bars in the town if you want different entertainment options. Albir has a good range of shops in the town.
I was on an all inclusive break and will recommend.

Très bon emplacement vu mer partielle selon la chambre un peu trop de vis à vis bon rapport qualité prix en Demi-pension superbe vu au dernier étage avec piscine personnel en salle très sympathique.

Et fint men litt gammelt hotell, Veldig bra frokost og fantastisk beliggenhet 😊

Had an pleasant stay in this hotel in september. It was a quiet hotel, lots of elderly people. Good location in front of the sea and beach. breakfast option offers a wide variety, english, continental, fresh juice, fresh fruit, etc. Hotel staff very friendly, correct, household staff did excellent job, every day fresh towels and room cleaned thoroughly. Room decoration old fashioned, needs freshening up. Balcony does not offer privacy.

Where here at the Kactus last year and reviewed it as top of the tops.
There again this year and we're not disappointed. There is not one small item that could be bettered anywhere.Been here only two days and the welcome from staff has been exemplary. This hotel is the best we fussy people could find and boy are we fussy.
