The staff is very nice and the breakfast was WONDERFUL. The grounds are beautiful. The pool was lovely.
The air conditioner in Room 8 is quite LOUD AND DID NOT COOL THD ROOM ADEQUATELY. THIS WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING, ESPECIALLY SINCE WE PAID A HIGH PRICE. I asked if we could switch rooms, but the front desk said all the rooms were full.
The hotel is a beautiful mansion with separate buildings, surrounded by well-maintained gardens, pools, and restaurants. Breakfast is ordered à la carte, with a wide variety of dishes; we tried most of them during our stay and the quality was consistently very good. Overall, the service and food were good. We also had dinner twice at the restaurant and the food was excellent.
The room was spacious and nicely designed with classic furnitures and huge bathroom with jacuzzi. Parking is available both inside and outside the hotel, which is very convenient if you have a car. Overall, it is a great place to stay. Have in mind that the hotel hosts parties as well so at some nights it might get noisy. We didn't mind since it was Christmas season and we were out most of the time.
There were repeated issues with hot water. We had to inform the reception at least three times, and on two occasions I had to take a cold shower, despite outdoor temperatures being below 0°C. Additionally, cleaning , even though the room was serviced every day , it could be improved especially in the bathroom area.
