The facilities were good.
The interior was beautifully renovated.
The parking arrangement was inconvenient.
Nice hotel, well appointed room. Food and menu was very good and the staff, super friendly.
Bedroom noise due to fan noise from kitchen extractors, when windows open.
What a beautiful Boutique Hotel - finest attention to detail. Lovely restaurant and such friendly staff.
The perfect night away
Labelling on Shower, Soap, Conditioner bottles easily readable Excellent for those with older eyes!
Too many stairs for an old man!
This was one of our best week-ends away from home with family, beautiful fynbos rooms with the most lovely mountains
Everything was excellent
Centrally located. Friendly staff. Beautiful facilities.
Parking area is across the street on open piece of land without any cover for vehicles from the sun. Made it difficult to handle and get lugguage to and from the hotel. Construction was on at the hotel during our stay with construction noise during the day without prior warning of this when the booking was made.
We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was just perfect, with two fireplaces, lovely sitting area, beautiful bathroom and a lovely garden view. The staff and food were also excellent.
Nothing
The staff were all particularly friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and we loved the little touches like the fact that they lit the fire, turned down our beds and put hot water bottles in the beds while we were at supper. The suite that we had was very spacious, with lots of little extras like sherry, nougat, dried fruit, Nespresso machine and bubble bath/bath salts and fluffy gowns in the bathroom
We struggled to get the water hot enough for a bath in the evening, but think it was just because the geysers were set on a timer which needed to be changed - so not a big issue.
Staff very helpful and friendly and food was enjoyable.
Room far too small. No hot water on Saturday.
Clean rooms, quality bedding and delicious breakfast
Smoky fireplace and wet firewood
Everything
Location good
We arrived at 1am after flight delays and very heavy storms, which knocked out electricity in the region.
Staff checked that we were en route from early and we're there to welcome us
Our room was upgraded . They had backup generators . The next day while the storm raged, theirs was the only restaurant that was functional in the town.
The staff could tell us which roads were impassable, since the internet was mostly also down.
Very friendly and efficient.
Staff ,dinner,breakfast,accommodation was fabulous
