Pros:

Very central hotel, perfect if you're using public transport. We had a superior room which was very spacious and warm. Staff very friendly, good breakfast although it was very busy at times with coach parties. Cafe Kaspar was good for a quick dinner or drink. Loved the complimentary glass of wine in the afternoon.

Cons:

Building work within the hotel going on which lasted all day. No information was given by the staff regarding this. On our last night we had a lot of noise from the top floor conference facilities until 23.00.

Le verre de vin gratuit entre 17 h et 18 h.

Cons:

La chambre était trop petite.
Un appareil en dessous de la fenêtre était très bruyant.
L’aspirateur n’a pas été passé dans la chambre pendant l’ensemble du séjour.
Le prix est trop élevé, surtout sans le petit déjeuner, par ailleurs cher lui aussi.

Fantastic location that can’t be beat!
Pros:

Location was stellar. Just in the outskirts of old town Torshavn.

Cons:

Quite a few stairs to get to my second floor room. There was an elevator to the second floor, but to get to my room I had to walk back outside. Go up and down several small flights of stairs to get to my building.

Te veel ergernis voor een hotelverblijf
Pros:

De locatie is super en de kamer werd dagelijks perfect gepoetst.

Cons:

Wat schokkerend was voor ons was dat een medewerker van de receptie geen taxi wilde bestellen voor ons; dit terwijl we op de Faeroer niet op de klassieke wijze kunnen bellen met een gsm en taxibedrijven niet bereikbaar zijn via Whatsapp… Ook is er geen vast toestel in de kamer, dus we konden geen taxi nemen. Punt. Triestig voor iemand die daar nochtans tijd genoeg voor heeft.
Het hotel heeft een prachtig dakterras, maar de receptionist wist ons te zeggen dat dat enkel dient voor conferenties… Really?!
De kamers zijn heel warm en moeilijk te verluchten (althans beneden langs de straatkant).
De douche is niet waterdicht, waardoor de badkamer voor de helft onder water staat na een douche.
De koffiezet is afgestemd op grote koppen, terwijl er normale koppen staan…hetgeen dan wel betekent dat alles onder de koffie komt te staan als je die niet op tijd afzet.

Inviting hotel with funky rooms and warm and friendly staff and all the amenities you need.
Pros:

I liked everything about this hotel. The breakfast was good. Both times we went for breakfast it was busy, but we could find a place to sit, Food was good with a good variety.
