I'd stay at Ares again.
Pros:

Ares hotel is at the heart of the historic district. By staying in this location, you have four days of Istanbul tour in walking distance. There are a lot of restaurants and great food in the area but note that since it is main tourist area, meal prices are very high for Istanbul. The hotel itself was very clean and staff very friendly. Haji Yousuf and Ali were very friendly. They tried to help in anyway the could. As far breakfast, it is great but you do not have a choice. You got to have what they provide. But it contains all nutrients you would need until noon.

Cons:

Everything was good. I think they can improve their breakfast by offering more choices or buffet style.

Great location, amazing rooftop terrace, and friendly staff.
Pros:

The hotel is in an excellent location, just a few minutes' walk from Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, and many restaurants and cafés. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean. The rooftop terrace was amazing, with a stunning view over the city. It was the perfect place to enjoy dinner or relax in the evening. The breakfast was good and offered a nice start to the day.

Cons:

The room was a little small for three people, and the TV did not always work properly. However, these were only minor issues and did not affect our overall stay.

Ideal choice for a few days in Istanbul
Pros:

This hotel is ideal choice for anyone who wants to be close to all interesting historical and cultural sites and restaurants also . The location is simply unbeatable – everything important is within walking distance, and you will save a lot of time on travel. You must enjoy unforgettable view of the Hagia Sophia from the rooftop terrace for sure. Special thanks go to Mr. Ali and Mr. Joseph for their outstanding approach and helpfulness, which made our overall impression even more pleasant. This hotel is located right in the heart of Istanbul's Old City, making it a perfect choice for shor
Pros:

The location is excellent, just a one-minute walk from Hagia Sophia and the Basilica Cistern.
The owner and staff were very kind and helpful, providing useful recommendations about public transportation and local tours. The breakfast was delicious. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

Cons:

The room is quite simple, but I wasn't looking for luxury. The price-to-quality ratio is very fair, especially for a room in heart of old city during high touristic season. As a young solo traveler, I only needed a place to sleep, take a shower, and store my luggage during my two-day layover. Thank you Ares Hotel.

Very satisfied, very courteous staff, good food, great value for the price.
Pros:

Excellent location, safe area for tourists, lots of historic sites and stores and places to eat in the neighborhood. Clean place too. Fantastic views from the rooftop cafe.

То что я хотел, то и получил . Это вид. Дружелюбный персонал. Номер с видом. Из ресторана, открывается ещё более красивый вид

Cons:

Ну сказать, что не понравилось, нельзя, просто комментарии. Номер уставший, особенно ванная, но всё работает хорошо. Завтрак скромный, но и цена не большая за номер.

My stay was very fantastic and homely. I would love to visit Ares Hotel again.
Pros:

The location is ok.
The staffs were very nice and good, Joseph and Alli were expectional good and the two ladies working in the kitchen and the cleaners. They were all helpful.

Cons:

The floor drain in the bathroom need more attention.

Pros:

Nagyon jó árban van, tökéletes helyen. Pár perc sétára megtalálható minden nagyobb látnivaló.
A személyzet kedves és segítőkész volt. A szállás kényelmes és tiszta.
A reggeli ár érték arányban megfelelő volt.
