AR Diamante Beach Spa & Convention Center

Very nice hotel , poor/non existant entertainment. Some staff need to interact with the customers more....a smile goes along way !. Cost of indoor Spa @ 33 euros for one hour ridiculous. A swim in the indoor pool in winter months should be free of charge. Christmas Gala meal was a complete fiasco, food very poor. Service so slow it was unacceptable. Buffet resteraunt very good. Rooms excellent.
This hotel needs to up its game with information for customers , and the reception staff need teaching how to interact with customers more.

Our stay at AR Diamente was one of mixed emotions. On one hand we found the hotel and location quite pleasing in regards to cleanliness and location.
However on the other hand there was many things that needs to be done better.
When we first arrived, my wife sat on the bed and then fell on the floor. Due to a leg being missing from the bed. This did however get rectified quite quickly.
Also, when taking a shower, the showerhead would rise up into the ceiling due to the water pressure, and also there was a socket that was loose in the wall.
charging for the spa, in my opinion is completely unacceptable. Considering you are calling yourself a spa hotel, but giving some codswallop about not actually owning the spa itself. As you can imagine being with a family, especially with my daughter who is autistic. We Needed this type of relaxation / activity, but sadly we could only do a few times due to cost. As it was expensive, and the outdoor pool was freezing.
The food for me was okay, but unfortunately my wife complained that most of the foods tasted of fish and there was a fish smell throughout the dining areas. Therefore, she didn’t eat very much from the hotel Itself, as we had to eat out quite often. As you can imagine this was very frustrating considering we paid for all inclusive.
Altogether, including expenses for Eating out and spa.. Cost us an additional £800 to our holiday. Something we really couldn’t afford, but had to do for obvious reasons.
Also approximately 50% of the staff there seem to have a bit of a chip on their shoulder. There was some really nice ones, but it was soured by the ones who seemed that they didn’t want us there. This was completely uncalled for as we was Nice and respectable to their hotel and their country but did get a little frustrating towards the end.
Would I go back there again ? absolutely not.
Which is a shame because it could be a good hotel if things were done better

Me and my partner gary stayed at this hotel for 7 nights over Xmas and we were very impressed. All the staff were very friendly especially Chiara, jesus and katelin. The hotel was spotless and situated near the lovely promenade. We had breakfast and evening meal which were both buffet style and there wear so much choice. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Once arrived the apparently of the hotel was beautiful but once you get past that nothing but problems....
Breakfast was ok nothing to shout about you was lucky to get it hot !

Extremely disappointed you was lucky for it to even be warm as soon as the restaurant opens, no selecting of anything, poor quality of everything,
Raw chicken was served to myself and my pregnant wife, we had food poisoning and was very unwell once spoke to staff about this yes we got an apology but that was as far as it went.
The Christmas gala a waste of our time to be honest to arrive by 7pm food was not served until 7.45pm all they served was fish for entreys my wife is allergic to fish she was served chopped tomato on toast ! ( the hotel knew about her allergy) By that time we had enough and left !!!

From that we was promised a special menu so we could eat New years eve gala. We was promised to see the menu x2 days before so it can be approved or changed... new years eve came ..... still recieved no menu !

Housekeeping = from the 1st day we arrived to the last day of leaving (10 days) pur bed sheets have not been changed the beds have been made but no fresh sheets ... again complained about this was promised fresh sheets.... still waiting !

Absolutely disgraceful hotel !

ENTERTAINMENT= HA what entertainment! There is literally nothing ! Once asked about this we was rudely told " go look at the screen" so we looked and waited for the times once times came ...... NOTHING. once asked about this we just got shoulders shrugged at.

The Spa= Whats the point !
Nothing works down there all you got was a warm swimming pool !

This is ament to be 4* Hotel
God help you if you stay there!

Not up to 4 star in our opinion, no entertainment, poor drinks choice, room needed table in front of sofa, sink in bathroom does not fill gone from 2 sinks to one not an improvement. Balcony doors poor

Very attractive lobby , but the circular bar lacks any atmosphere, no night time entertainment, buffet restaurants, breakfast is the best everything you need to start the day, evening meal a little disappointed food luke warm, poor selection and quality not great, unless you like salads and desserts,
In Xmas day we had the gala dinner, started at 8-00 but was 8-45 before the food arrived very late for us brits, lots of empty seats I suspect because of the late start, the food at the gala dinner was mixed , for me it should have started at 7-00 latest.
Now the good bits, good size rooms we had the 12th floor with access to the sun deck with infinity pool, all the staff were helpful and friendly, great location close to beach and opposite two supermarkets, fridge and kettle in room.

On arrival at the hotel, the lobby and all areas, including the bedroom, were really nice. The food was ok and what you expect from a package hotel. Negatives. The waiting staff were not what we are used to very poor service, the all-inclusive upgrade package was not worth the extra payment, and there was no entertainment and some areas for all-inclusive guests were closed, Another problem was that when the bed was changed we were left without a duvet cover, We will not be returning to this Hotel. We would advise people thinking of booking to think very carefully, unless you don't mind being disappointed.

We really enjoyed our visit ( this is our 2nd time to visit the hotel) enjoyed the use of the pool terrace and the coffee machine + the fridge, we will be back

Hey all just home from Diamante beach hotel with my hubby. My word this hotel … Absolutely the most beautiful stunning hotel ever , the staff everyone of them were super nice . We stayed Half Board. The food is scrumptious and the dining area & views are amazing, we will definitely be going back. The room too very quiet and restful , unfortunately I didn’t get to experience the fabulous spa but next time i definitely will. See you next year I promise you. Just go people

I stayed at the hotel for a long weekend. The rooms are spacious and clean, with a view either over the pools or the mountains. Great location with easy access to the promenade. Loved the saxophonist playing in the bar area. The food was excellent, with lots of choice at the different buffets

An overall great experience. A few minor issues to make the stay 10/10 but a good 9/10. I would consider staying there again.

We were here for stars on the Costa. The hotel is a fantastic spot close to everything. Beautiful hotel very clean and staff were very friendly especially Carlos …

Food in the main bar was very ordinary for a top class hotel not great and even the way the food was presented was very bad … I work in a 4/5 hotel in Ireland and just thought there wasn’t enough and it could have been presented is a better way also the service in the restaurant upstairs was awful I had a lady spraying the table to clean it it went on my food and my body 🤔😳 and well in general the service was very bad … it doesn’t take much to do the job right …. We were paying enough 😊 but over all we had a great holiday … need to improve your standard of a professional service and not put your eyes to heaven when a customer. Asks for something

Our second time in Calpe and decided to try this hotel. The room is comfortable with lots of electric plugs. Quiet rooms with bright balconies which blacks out very nicely.

Breakfast was good with a strong selection. Buffet dinner, although decently passable, is well priced.

Staff are friendly and accommodating, with efficient service.

This hotel offers lots of amenities including spa and outdoor pools. We didn’t have time to experience the spa but looked amazing.

The location of the hotel - short walk to the beach and the salinas. There are two large grocery stores within a few minutes walk, and the rooms have mini fridges, which makes it easy to chill drinks and food.

Would recommend this hotel.

I stayed at the Diamente Beach Spa Hotel in Calpe for a week at the end of September 2025, having last stayed there around 12 years ago. I had a double room to myself and it was huge! Apart from the comfortable bed, there was a sofa bed, small fridge, spacious shower room, good size wardrobe with drawers and a free safe, and balcony with table and chairs. The hotel has undergone extensive refurbishment and looked great. I didn't use any facilities apart from the large ballroom for dancing. I was impressed by the quality of the food (I mostly ate salads and fruits and cannot comment on the meat/fish) and my dietary requests for gluten free dishes were catered for (as long as they were ordered in the evening/morning for the next meal.) I had a sea view, although this is limited due to the amount of high rise buildings nearby. A mountain/lake view would be just as good and maybe even better. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The new renovations at the AR Diamante are great, the hotel is comfortable and clean, the staff are professional and the food is excellent. Cannot recommend it enough.

Fantastic event,great hotel in excellent position a short distance from beach ,shops and land train also 2 supermarkets opposite.staff were very friendly and food good a bit more variety would have been nice but overall good quality and tasty. Rooms have been upgraded since my last stay so very modern and a new bar in reception area.

The staff at the AR Diamante hotel in Calpe are extremely friendly and professional, even at busy times. Alberto and Jose deserve a special mention. They take care of customers at the reception bar with tremendous friendliness!

Best hotel I have stayed in for a long time. The choice of meals were amazing. Couldn’t recommend it more.
