Pros:

I stayed on the first floor and the carpet in the hallways was a tripping hazard because it was not flat but gathered and folded in odd places through the entire hall. The carpet in the sitting area of my room was also good stained.

My wife and I had an restful stay. I recommend this hotel to everyone
Pros:

Rooms are nice. Clean and quiet. Staff was excellent

Cons:

The hallways need an upgrade. Carpet is lifting and someone can probably trip.
Shower water pressure is low.

My New Go-To Stay for Oxnard!
Pros:

The Wednesday complementry lite dinner and beer was awesome! The full breakfast bar was kick'n every morning. Maintence handled a small issue with the room very fast. Did not have to pay for parking was a plus. Had the KING with Sofa / kitchen. Athough I did not use the kitchen- it had it all. Full size frig and ice maker. Ice machines are still on every floor.

Cons:

Elevators were not located in the main lobby but down a hall and sharp turns with the luggage cart was a small task. But not a stay-breaker - I 'm just a big guy who likes elevators in lobbies, LOL.

the room was very nice but i was locked out of it every time i tried to leave.
Pros:

i enjoyed the king suite with the included kitchen area. having that was very nice since i have hella food allergies and cant eat out for every meal while traveling like most people seem to. the safe food options near-by were kinda lacking so i really enjoyed being able to just cook something whenever i was hungry. more hotel chains need to offer this, extremely valuable. staff are all very extremely kind, the maintenance man who fixed our door i especially have to give praise, he had to brute force that thing for almost half an hour and i can imagine he must have felt pretty uncomfortable himself, so i can only say how much i appreciate that given it was pretty late at night too. the grounds are also very beautiful, i enjoy the landscaping here a lot.

Cons:

my door was non-functional for the duration of my stay. after 3 days staff finally agreed to let maintenance replace the batteries in the door. that worked for about 3 hours and the door returned to a non-functional state. each time we would tell someone our door is broken, its not the room keys, we would get the same response of "we have been having issues with these new room keys, we'll reset them again and hope that works." i understand that other people were having issues with their doors and keys while we were here too, but every time we tried to explain that its not the keys, theyd have to go check for themself first instead of taking our word that we cant into our room .... we had to keep getting someone to use "the device" to open our door. on the last night of my stay, a couple days after the batteries were replaced i was offered a new room, but i was leaving that morning. just really disappointing, have to say even extremely frustrating, given the length of my stay and every time i try to return to my room i have to go bother someone and make them come open my door for me again.
