Coffee was great. Continental breakfast was okay.
There was no way to watch tv except from the bed. There also wasn't any type of desk.
The hotel was nearly empty, and yet they still gave me the worst room, facing the parking lot. The breakfast was good. Then once I left, I started getting spammed by "Path Vacations", by email and by daily phone calls and multiple voicemails, and they won't stop even though I've asked them to stop. They are relentless.
Beware of this business.
The location of Center Harbor Inn is perfect. You have the lake next to the property, mountains and trails for those physically able to make the trek or large property where one can peacefully relax and just to chill. There were many restaurants from which to choose in the area. The best part was having a complimentary breakfast every morning. The coffee was so good. The staff was unbelievably friendly and sincere when they greeted us every day. Our balcony had a partial view of the lake, but it was difficult to enjoy sitting out when the furniture was covered with pollen and bird dropping. Granted if was a very heavy pollen season while we were there, but that had nothing to do with spider webs and dirt on the porch area. Might we suggest that when they clean the rooms, they should also clean/sweep the deck and porch furniture. Overall our stay was enjoyable and we will definitely go back again.
Center Harbor Inn--a great staff, loved the location, the room, and the view was exceptional. Jacuzzi, Gym, Sauna- all excellent.
I really enjoy staying at Center Harbor Inn. I have been there 2 times for conferences and chose not to stay in Meredith where the conference is held. The outdoor jacuzzi is lovely. Most rooms have a patio or balcony and it's right on the water. They have a sauna, firepit, dock, beach and decent breakfast available. Restaurants are nearby.
The rooms are a little sparse but comfortable. It would have been helpful to have a small desk as I was there for work. I also feel the fitness center could be much better with a small change. Removing one treadmill and adding some weights. Also I could have used a small desk in the room but I realize most guests are not there for work so I can see why that's not a priority.
Stay for a nearby wedding was fine, price was too high for end of October. I'm still getting timeshare/ vacation club telemarketing calls from them six months later. Told the first I wasn't interested. With the second, they're on block. Search Path resorts and Steele Hill. The offer is a common scam. Wish they'd just focus on being a mid-range hotel option.
From the amazing breakfast to the outdoor hot tub and indoor sauna and gym, this resort has it all. Great location and friendly staff.
Stayed in this property with the family and had a great time. Went to the ice castles and gunstock mountain resort to ski and snowtubing. 30 minutes away each and this property had complimentary breakfast, an outside hot tub and more. Thanks.
The hot tub and view are wonderful. Beds were comfortable.
beautiful property everything was amazing
everything was great!
Good breakfast, location near to other restaurants even in winter, great view, enjoyed the hot tub. Front desk staff seemed to be one person for the entire stay, very knowledgeable and patient though busy. The price was a bit of a splurge for late-season but those are the times. We got what we paid for with a King Bed, space, a view. Liked having a fridge for our snacks and beverages. Treehouse of Horror marathon on the TV plus watching the cobra chickens out front. Very relaxing. Walked to the canoe restaurant (same side of the highway) and drove over to the tavern up the hill.
Stairs to the 1st floor room, because it's down a hill. There is a way to walk on the grass and go around without stairs. Not friendly to wheeled suitcases, but a little better for moving a bunch of wedding guest clothes.
Just over a month later, got a sales call from Path Resorts with a standard timeshare "free stay" pitch. Sales reps for them only make $17 an hour. I was busy or I'd have played along - we were in town for a relative's event and don't need to explore further.
location was convenient
room size
breakfast was good but awkward to walk outside to get to office where breakfast room was (it was raining....)
Bathroom had no counter space
Rooms were clean comfortable bed. Hotel situated overlooking the harbor.
Poor breakfast only scrambled egg, yogurt, for celiacs, no fresh fruit. Tables not cleaned between guests.
